I collect both basics and elites..if I didn't collect the basics I would have missed out on ALOT of good figures only made in basic form for example hurricane Dreamer and ss heritage hhh to name a few....basics get waaayyy to much hate in my opinion.

I try to get one of at least each character. Elites first but in the case of guys like Trent and Hawkins the basics have to do.

I mostly collect FB guys and anyone who has ever stepped foot in the original ECW ring. I'm beginning to apply the ECW rule to NWA guys as well. I collect very few guys from the current roster. Anyone I've purchased from the current roster were either a part of an earlier era, or were only purchased for parts to experiment with customization. Regardless, I'm grateful that there's a market for collectors like myself.

I collect who I think looks awesome, or new guys that get introduced into the line. I don't collect just elites, or basics. It's all mixed in my collection.  |

I pick up all the interesting ones asap, dedicated to elites, then while waiting for fresh stuff to arrive I buy the shelfwarming crew. I have hundreds of Mattel figures, but I don't have every figure, if I could afford to buy one of every single fig and accessory, I probably would because having that big of a roster would feel pretty cool.

Elites and basics here. Trying to get one of everyone released (including different gimmick names like mankind/cactus jack) as well as any major costume changes i like. Its a very vague method but its there. Ja

I collect wrestlers I like and don't waste my money on wrestlers I don't. I have bought figures of guys I am not a big fan of, but had a great looking figure (E23 Cesaro, E8 Drew McIntyre, etc)

I pretty much just do my favorites and only in Elite form. Some current guys, mostly classic guys. I'll buy pretty much any Indy guy because I think it's awesome for them to get figures.
Plus of course I buy any former WWE/IC champ.
