I think any plans they may or may not have had for a Survivor Series Tag Match went up in smoke when Rollins' knee imploded. Meh. I'm still guessing we get something thrown together. I mean, was there ever a Survivor Series without an elimination match? Quite a few I'm pretty sure

I mean, was there ever a Survivor Series without an elimination match? Off the top of my head, '98 and '02. There may be more. I'm not saying there won't be one, I just don't expect it to have anything behind it at all. Just a bunch of random guys thrown together for no reason, as you said.

Planktung came up with this scenario and I think it's cool. I can think of one impossible scenario that can accomplish a lot. Ambrose vs. Cesaro in the finals at Survivor Series. Towards the end of the match, Triple H comes out and says that there's a third participant in the match, which is Roman Reigns, who accepts the offer that Hunter gave him on RAW yesterday. Reigns Spears Ambrose and wins the title, officially turning heel and joining The Authority. This one scenario would - Get the WWE World Title on Roman Reigns, something that the company has wanted. - Turns Reigns heel, which is what the internet wants. - Replaces Seth Rollins as the top heel - Gives Dean Ambrose's character a new twist now that the one guy that he trusted stabbed him in the back. It also gives him a reason to feud with Triple H in 2016. Hunter is the reason that The Shield is longer in existence. He took Ambrose's "brothers" from him. - Keeps a one-on-one Ambrose vs. Reigns match saved for WrestleMania. - PUSHES CESARO. - Gives Seth Rollins more of a reason to turn babyface when he returns. Roman Reigns, the guy who was said that he wanted to earn his spot at the top, did exactly what he did at WrestleMania to get what he wanted. - Reigns vs. Ambrose vs. Cesaro at TLC - Reigns vs. Cesaro at Royal Rumble ; Ambrose wins the Rumble match itself - Ambrose vs. Triple H at Fast Lane - Reigns vs. Ambrose at WrestleMania

I get why it has to be done in this scenario. The problem is, this scenario assumes that WWE would be willing to let Cesaro beat both Del Rio, and Roman Reigns, which to me, is about as likely as Stone Cold and CM Punk returning to face each other at Wrestlemania.

Anyone else concerned that we are a few days away and only 3/4 matches have been announced? Awful booking for one of the major events of the year.

Survivor Series has been a victim of crap booking for years. If it wasnt for The Shield and Sting debuting on Survivor Series PPVs the past few years then i wouldn't even care about it anymore.

I guess we'll get one or two elimination matches, one with the upper midcard and one with the lower midcard guys, among the lines of:
Cesaro, Ziggler, Dudleys, Ryback vs Ascension, Breeze, King Barrett, Sheamus
&
PTP, Sin Cara, Kalisto, (Sandow?) vs Ascension, Los Matadores, (Slater? Rose? Fandango?)
Another thing I think we'll see is Del Rio defending his title against Neville, the alternative being Cesaro but I don't want to see him lose again...
EDIT: I totally forgot about Stardust, maybe he will replace Breeze in the Heel team, Neville would replace Ziggler in the Face team and Ziggler would face Del Rio with Breeze interfering to cost him the match. This way they get everybody on the card.

Alberto Del Rio is already busy at Survivor Series with the his WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semifinal match and a possible Tournament Finals match:

The fact that I forgot about this match just shows how predictable the outcome is hahaha

So it looks like WWE are indeed throwing a traditional SS match together last minute as per WWE.com. They even admitted they've got no idea who's involved yet. Lol

Bu...bu...but...why are ratings dipping? Bwaaaah!
Remember when Survivor Series was a show to look forward to?
We're four days away from what used to be one of the "Big Four" shows, and they have 5 matches booked. So, you know we'll wind up getting one or two thrown together at the last minute matches that nobody will care about. Hell, the matches they HAVE booked nobody cares about!

So I don't think this is a spoiler, but figured I'd post it. I received in my email a promotional piece that hypes the Survivor Series. "Watch Roman Reigns' Journey to Survivor Series". It gives the impression that Reigns is winning, but probably reading into it. Still putting in spoilers in case. I'm thinking that it may be used to overly hype Reigns, and then have him be upset by Ambrose or Owens. Just seems weird how its promoting his journey and no one elses.
