Other town's Wal-marts and Targets. This has been, flat-out, the dirt worst year for collecting in all my 29 years. Worse than when I collected DC Universe Classics six or so years ago. That's saying a lot.
In town, there are three Wal-marts, two Targets, a Toysrus, a K-mart, and drug stores on every street corner, and yet somehow I can't find anything at any of them. I check the stores that are on the way to work frequently.
Sets I can pick up right now:
Basic 53 in very limited amounts and all are Rock and Triple H.
Basic 46 at both Targets.
Signature Series
Those worst of cases Walmart has been getting.
Basic 42.
Last year's Signature Series Punk.
Elite 35 Orton
Elite 36 warmers
The end. And that's all anybody has even had. Target hasn't progressed a set since basic 46. Sometimes they go in the back and grab more of that series Big Show and Batista to top the pegs off. This is why I hunt out of town.
Haven't done Ringside as much this year. I reckon this is my tipping point towards getting exclusively from them.

RSC, Walmart, sometimes TRU, and a local specialty store called Bounty Hunter Toys.

90% come from Ringside (except for store exclusives). I'm not in the hobby for the chase; I'm in for the figures!

Almost everything I've gotten over the last year has come from Amazon.
The only things that I've gotten in stores that I would consider to be hard to find are Basic 52 Nikki Bella and Neville, and I found DM Sting at Walmart in July before it hit everywhere full force.
But except for a few common figures I decided to get in stores just because, everything comes from Amazon. Unless it's a store exclusive. I got the TRU Rollins at TRU, obviously, lol.

Since I only collect flashbacks I just pre order from ringside. Most of my figure purchases now are from the bay trying to get any figures I missed, specifically legends and some early flashbacks like Kane and Papa Shango. When I buy through retail it's usually target for the Hall of Fame figures.

Lately, no one can touch Amazon prices. Gotta act quick though. So far on prime I've gotten, E37 Stephanie for $13.32, E36 Bo for $10.11, E30 Batista $9.88, Rey and RVD bp for $6, Rey and DB bp for $7 and Tons of Funk for $10. I'm now a believer in Prime.

It depends. I check stores such as Walmart, Target, Kmart, and TRU whenever I can, but 90% of the time none of those places are restocked, the scalpers get there first and take everything, or they just have old shelf warmers lying around so I just buy from Ringside to save me all the trouble. Fortunately though, my last two retail scores were great. Picked up WM Seth at TRU and DM Sting at Kmart.

My friend with a Mattel account.
The last time I bought something at retail it was a store exclusive, other than that I don't waste my time going to stores anymore. I get that stuff shipped to my door step like the shut in I want to be.

Don't have a Smyth's in my area. I go to Toys r us, Target, Walmart, and Amazon. In that order. Hopefully Walgreens soon. Oh and Ringside for exclusives.

I'v bought my figures this year from a lot of different places and I like showing the love to all the retailers who stock these things so that's awesome. I would prefer to buy from retail but they are always so far behind in my area but buying online always runs the risk of bad carding.

RSC for everything other than store exclusives. I don't really have time for the hunt anymore so knowing I will have the figures I want preordered is worth it to me.
