Some good stuff from Corny here (warning contains explicit language ) That one with Bearer and Cornette is golden. "You don't hate a lot of people" "No I don't" "But when you do it, you do it well"

"You don't hate a lot of people" "No I don't" "But when you do it, you do it well" The whole shoot interview is amazing. It's not even really a shoot interview it's just 2 old friends talking about old times. I really recommend it to people to watch, the whole thing is on youtube search for Corny Bizzle.

Well from what I've heard about him he has as much talent and creative direction as a butterfly in the dead of winter. Weird metaphor I know at least it's creative, unlike Kevin Dunn.

I usually try to avoid Dunn bashing. Mostly because I have no idea what to blame on him and what not to. I try to wait for solid facts before I jump to conclusions.
But there are those that need someone to point the finger at. They need a scapegoat whether it's justified or not.

Dunn has been responsible for a lot of good over the years, but the general consensus among those "in the know" is that he habitually entertains and approves of Vince's self-fulfilling prophecies and has gained his ear enough to plant the seeds for a lot of the qualities people really dislike about the product.
He's the one guy that Vince can always count on to say "the idea is good" even when everyone else around him is telling him it's bad. I think he's a problem, but essentially by extension of Vince.

He's embarrassed to be in the profession that he's in, and likewise, he's an embarrassment to it.

Isn't Dunn the reason behind all those great video pieces we have seen over the years though?? If so, he gets a pass with me because I dig those videos. I don't hate Kevin Dunn. To me, the Kevin Dunn hate is the same as the Vince Russo hate. It's by wannabe know it all marks who think they know the business when in fact they don't know half of what goes into it all. "Wannabe know-it-all marks" *facepalm* Have you ever seen anyone in the wrestling business talk about Kevin Dunn? Because I have never heard of anyone in the industry that doesn't hat Kevin Dunn. Also, to answer the OP's question, people hate Kevin Dunn because he hates wrestling. He's also Vince McMahon's right hand guy. Here are just some of the things he's done: He is the one largely behind not calling the WWE professional wrestling. Vince coined the term sports entertainment, but never banned the word wrestling which is now only used in edgy "shoot" promos - that was Dunn. He's the one behind the Diva Search, which was their great idea to rebuild the division after they fired a ton of talented women wrestlers. He is against historical references in wrestling - so much so that he deep-sixed Jerry Lawler wanting Lance Russell (Memphis wrestling announcer) to induct Lawler because nobody would know who Russell is. So they got William Shatner instead who had a cup of coffee with Lawler in 1995. He doesn't like announcers calling matches and prefers them to "tell stories" He's legendary for being a tough boss who runs his staff ragged and scares the crapout of them. Also, here's this story on Kevin Dunn from a former WWE writer: www.cagesideseats.com/2014/7/1/5857390/hi-my-name-is-kevin-dunn#243156405

If Dunn did all this and Vince went along with it, then it's not really Dunn's fault, but more so Vince's fault for allowing it to happen in the first place. And I for one was a huge fan of the Diva Search. Because of that, I got to see Maria Kanellis in 2004 and I instantly became a fan of her. If people like wrestling so much, and want just wrestling, then watch ROH. WWE is entertainment, always has been, always will be.

So it's not Kevin Dunn's fault, even though he came up with the idea, and suggested it to Vince? Vince shares the blame with Dunn, because even though Vince approved it, Dunn still came up with it. The reason why everyone hated the Divas' Search, is because it was one of the many things, that made people see The Divas as nothing more than eye-candy. And while it gave us Maria, it also gave us a bunch of Divas that couldn't wrestle, couldn't talk, and was good at nothing but looking good. WWE is a wrestling promotion. You can use whatever buzzword you want, but at the end of the day, WWE is a professional wrestling company. Nobody wants WWE to be just wrestling, but at the same time, to act like WWE has never been, and still isn't a wrestling company at it's very core, is sheer stupidity.

I work for a big company. We have Kevin Dunns in the office. People who have been here forever, contribute very little and make working conditions miserable if you work for them. No one knows how they are still employed, or what their job function is. They most likely know the right people and hold back other talented people from rising because they are wasting space. I know people like Dunn, that's why I hate him.

Kevin Dunn, likes Vince McMahon, pushes Superstars and Divas based on their looks instead of talent. From what I have heard, Dunn likes John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Big Show, Brock Lesnar, The Great Khali, Kelly Kelly, The Bella Twins, Undertaker, Kane, Eve Torres, Lex Luger and Sable, among others. He also loves comedy characters which is the main reason why Santino Marella and Hornswoggle were pushed as mid-card title contenders and is partly responsible for Cody Rhodes' repackaging as Stardust (who Vince McMahon also likes but not as a serious WWE Championship contender). Dunn will never be fired as long as McMahon runs the WWE.

Yeah he doesn't like wrestling. That's why we have sports entertainment, I think the idea of having storyline is great don't get me wrong but at the end of the day it's supposed to be aBout the wrestling. Apparently he's had a lot of guys held back or let go because they weren't his idea of a "sports entertainer" ID go out on a limb and say he would have been someone who disliked daniel Bryan until the merchandise money numbers started coming in. A few interviews I've read or seen claim that he wouldn't have a job if he hadn't saved wwfs tv deal by driving tapes from one end of the country to the other over night. Vince promised he'd always have a job for saving the company from losing its first major tv deal. True or not I don't know. I'm sure it was Kevin Dunn's dad who saved the tapes. That is correct.

Yea, and I think that's the problem.... WWE hasn't had any good storylines in a long, long time.... It's not the wrestling that's the problem in WWE..... and it's not the "sports entertainment." It's the fact that the "sports entertainment" is so bad....
