blaming cena at all is pretty unfounded, but there is truth that wrestling focuses too largely on big men and always has if we're talking wwf. it goes back to vince's obsession with masculinity - the guy is 70 years old and still on the juice!
i don't know how they run their piss tests in that company, but there are massive issues when you have guys like ryback and big e just floating around that have clearly used or are using steroids...

Cena poisoned our water supply, burned our crops, and set a plauge unto our houses!

This is such a preposterous argument that I didn't even read past the second or third sentence because you are attributing an issue that has existed forever to an individual who has been in a prominent position for 9-10 years.
Getting injured has nothing to do with size or look or doing stunts to compensate. As anyone who plays sports or exercises knowns that injuries just happen and/or happen from overuse. If there is anything or anyone to blame it's Vince McMahon, or whoever came up with putting on multiple shows a week in different cities, for making these guys perform and be on the road for 300 days a year. Hell I played tons of sports in high school and struggled to stay healthy because of how easy it is to get a stress fracture, tweak a muscle, etc....then you start to compensate to avoid pain from injury #1 and then you injure something else.
For wrestlers, what starts as a little nagging injury, doesn't get proper time to heal, and is constantly being exerted/used/re-aggrivated several times a week is going to just progressively get worse. Let's not forget how difficult it is to eat healthy and get proper rest when you seldom get to sleep in your own bed and are always on the road. The nature of the business, both during a performance and in training, is to performing dynamic lifts and carries in ways the human body was not meant.
What many of the high-flyers you have mentioned do is more gymnastics in nature than "high-risk" weight lifting.

YOu would have seen I'm not blaming Cena but WWE's love of muscular big men over smaller men. Cena just happens to be the ultimate prototype for WWE's big men

More fans wanted to buy tickets to see Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant than Sky Low Low and Tiger Jackson. If the secret police are rounding up WWE officials and John Cena, they're going to arrest wrestling fans next. We're the ones who spend the money that dictates the direction of the industry. We killed Eddie Guerrero and got Billy Gunn fired because we made more noise for Cena and Batista than we made for Super Porky and Colin Delaney.

People still dont understand its the fans that make Superstars not Vince. Everyone points & bitches at Cena and says "Oh he's the prototype", "Oh listen to him get booed", "Oh we've Cena nuff"...the fact though is Cena is still the most sought after for public appearance. Cena still has the highest merch sales, Cena still gets some of the biggest reactions from the crowd, whether cheering or booing. Cena is in the place he's in because Cena is smarter then a wrestling fan. Cena can work a wrestling fan. He can say "poopy" and marks will start yelling and screaming...and that's EXACTLY what he wants you to do. If the mark was smart he wouldnt make a reaction at all. He would sit on his hands in silence. At that point Cena would be phased out.
Daniel Bryan didnt get pushed because he risked his body. DB got pushed because the fans backed him overwhelmingly. Rollins, Reigns & Ambrose didnt get their pushes because of their look or size, they got their push because when The Shield music hit the fans went ape crap. The wrestling fans have all the power in the world. The problem is that they're not smart enough to know how to use it.

People need to get over the fact that smaller workers have to try harder than bigger guys. That's just a reflection on life — of course they have to try harder! Two men with no fighting ability have a street fight. One is 6'4" and the other is 5'4". It's obvious who will win. The same sized men have a street fight again only this time, the smaller man has 5 years of martial arts training added to his skill. Now it's a closer match-up and the smaller man had to try harder to make it believable. Wrestling is all about believability. A better question than "why do all the little guys have to try so hard?", is "why don't all the big guys try harder?" - But that's when you get legit freaks like Brock Lesnar... Wrestling has always been -- and will always be -- about the suspension of disbelief.

While Vince still has his preferences of who he wants to be popular, it all comes down to the fans reaction.
