When it comes to GNR or pretty much anything Axl Rose has a say on, its hard to believe until its been seen in person.

Even if they announce it and put tickets for sale, I will believe it once my ass is parked in the arena and they play a full set.

If this does happen (and I mean no disrespect), I only hope Axl fine tunes his voice. My sister saw him & his version of Guns & Roses a few years ago & she said he sounded winded & strained.
I do hope they are able to let bygones be bygones. They could make a killing from a new tour.

This has potential to be a dream come true. But they could announce it, I could have tickets, and I'd still be skeptical something would ruin it.
I saw the new GnR (Buckethead version) awhile back and thought they sounded great. But Axel made us wait for 1 1/2 because he wasn't sure he felt like preforming. Guess he wasn't even in the state till the promoter sent a helicopter to get him. So that is why I'll always be skeptical.

Unless something has changed, the source for this was Scott Wieland from STP, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I mean what a  ing amazing deal it would be if the Wildabouts would open for GNR on the tour and they could do Revolver songs too. Not holding my breath but I'll 100% buy tickets if this does eventually happen. Seems extremely far fetched imo but anything is possible. I hope to be on the early part of the tour haha. |

I mean what a ing amazing deal it would be if the Wildabouts would open for GNR on the tour and they could do Revolver songs too. Not holding my breath but I'll 100% buy tickets if this does eventually happen. Seems extremely far fetched imo but anything is possible. I hope to be on the early part of the tour haha. I saw the Wildabouts live in Sundance and they were great. Sad about thier guitar player. He was a nice dude. |

Heh, I'd rather be on the middle-late part of the tour. Takes Axl a few weeks to warm-up.  In any case, I still won't believe it until they're actually on stage together. And honestly, I still need to hear something from Axl, Slash, or Duff to truly believe anything is close to happening. |

Not sounding super likely....or maybe very likely.
An LA Weekly article came out with their former manager saying it won't happen. But if you've met anyone in entertainment, denial is your best skill. LCD Soundsystem are apparently re-uniting but according to everyone involved, it's not happening.
So....whatever. If they re-unite, maybe they'll all catch their last big paydays and go home. Rumor is they were offered $8mil for festival dates.
