Confession time.....I've never played this game. You are missing out on the greatest season mode in any wrestling game ever.

Thanks to WWF No Mercy for the N64, I came up with my fourm name while creating my wrestler. Such good memories. Can't believe it has been a decade and a half since it came out.
I remember the glitch in the game when people's game saves were deleted. Glad I was able to get one that didn't suffer the same glitch. Bummer we never got that sequel to No Mercy.

Wow. Thanks for wasting 3 mins of my life. I bought the game a few years ago and didn't really get what the fuss about it was. The amount of different attires was cool but I do prefer the smackdown gameplay.

Wow. Thanks for wasting 3 mins of my life. I bought the game a few years ago and didn't really get what the fuss about it was. The amount of different attires was cool but I do prefer the smackdown gameplay. I think you had to have been there during that console generation back in 2000 to fully appreciate what that game meant to a lot of people, the N64 AKI wrestling games were pretty revolutionary at the time, before they came along we had games like WWF Warzone/Attitude/Nitro/Thunder etc. which were pretty pess poor in quality of gameplay & didn't really feel like a proper wrestling game. I can understand the hype behind No Mercy but tbh I was more of a WCW Revenge guy myself, that or a Shut Your Mouth/Here Comes The Pain kid. No Mercy had a lot of content to keep you busy for hours but while playing matches the gameplay felt slowed down & at a snails pace to me compared to the other three AKI games on the N64, that was kind of a buzz kill plus it didn't help that I was one of those unfortunate souls who got stuck with a defective cart.. I can remember I had to brave it out, run the gauntlet & beat a 100 wrestler plus survival mode in order to unlock most of the hidden characters only for it to reset itself after switching the console on & off after 3 or 4 times. Always felt devastated when guys like Ken Shamrock, Shawn Michaels, the McMahon's would be locked again after all that hard work. Plus those sweet Armageddon & Backlash arenas but for the life of me I could never understand why I picked Al Snow of all people for the survival mode, I think it was because of his moveset?.. he did have one sweet superkick.. Anywho a long story short, the Smackdown series > all.. Yeah..

This songs amazing. Have a little soft spot in my heart for these games. Can you tell haha. Got wcw/nwo world tour a week ago ;-; had the others for years. I love the original for its japanese influence and tbh I've been preferring anything that's NOT WWF this year. IMO getting into wcw last year I prefer their products and stars very much more.

One of the best wrestling games of all time. Played it countless hours. Never saw that music video before though. That's awesome.
