I hope he's on Conan again soon so they can compare skin tone for 10 minutes.

Sheamus is a great in ring performer. Him and Reigns will probably have great matches. Sheamus vs Lesnar is what I really want. Yes. Yes. And an emphatic yes.

To reiterate my point earlier, couldn't you just imagine Roman winning and celebrating then all you hear is "OOOOHHHH ROMAN, DON'T YOU DARE CONTINUE THIS CELEBRATION! BECAUSE THERE'S SOMEONE WITH A BRIEFCASE FOE THIS SPECIAL OCCASION!" "It's a new day, yes it is!" Then Kofi comes on running down with Woods and Big E behind him, gives the case to the referee, Reigns still dazed from the match, Woods on the trombone, little fight, while Kofi is setting up for the Trouble in Paradise, Woods does the "duh duh duh dun duh duuuuh! Charge" when Kofi hits it, 1,2,3, The New Days is the new World Heavyweight champion. But no, we got Sheamus. Aside from the fact that it would make absolutely no sense and diminish the entire relevance of the Money in the Bank PPV if the briefcase can be obtained in a non-televised segment/match. (kayfabe) But hey, why let logic get in the way of your own personal feelings? #SheamusIsYourUndisputedWorldChampion

That's awesome. Now we hopefully get Sheamus and Reigns tearing up the place and then the match I've been wanting to see for the last few years: Sheamus vs. Lesnar.

Hats off to the WWE writers on this one. What an amazing job of building up Sheamus to be such a great star who has beaten everyone in his path for months and has been one of the most entertaining wrestlers on RAW every week. He completely deserves it for putting on great match after great match since his return and being so talented and funny on the mic. Especially last night when he said "getting Jiggy With it!!!", Oh my god what an amazing entertainer with such amazing comedic timing.
Honestly can't think of one person on the entire roster that is more talented and deserves this more than him. What a talent. I hope one day that people like Owens, Ambrose, Rollins, Cesaro, Ziggler, Barrett, Rusev etc. start taking notes on what it takes to be a star. Go back and watch how great Sheamus has been since his return and you'll realize what it takes to get to the top of this company. Bravo, Bravo.

If Kofi had won in June I don't think it would have went down well.. the New Day weren't at the heights then that they are now. If they wanted New Day in the title picture.. the tournament was the perfect opportunity and they opted to keep them away so as to not kill their momentum. In my opinion, they should be close to the main event after Wrestlemania.. and Big E will likely be the guy that gets the call.

Reigns is definitely winning the belt back at TLC or RR. WWE isnt going to have Sheamus as WWE champion heading into WM but then again, I said the same with Miz.

It just blows my mind how badly book the WWE is right now and has been for god knows how long.Rumors are they want Reigns to be "THE MAN" and the guy that takes over for Cena as the face of the company but they keep making him look like a chump who can never get over in big time matches.Having him win the title last night for all of five minutes and him crying at the end was like the WWE cutting his balls off and feeding them to him,he been damaged greatly now not just in the short term but longer term, but who am I kinding the WWE does that to all over their young talent and never give them proper long term pushes or big time wins.Just as the not one,not two,not three, but all four of the Wyatt Family that got totally job out to two men well past their primes close to if not 50 years old.
Sheamus as the WWE Champion is the laziest and worst possible move they could have done, and yet they still did it.Sheamus is a solid talent in the ring but is stale as shit, has never been that good on the mic,has had the same character for his entire career and most of all has not just had one but three pushes to the top and title reigns that have all failed,he's never drawn a dime in his career and doesn't put ass in the seats.
Their so many better routes they could have gone with Reigns turning heel and joining the Authority, having Ambrose or Ziggler turn heel, putting the starp on Owens...ect all of which in turn could have hopefully made a new bankable and credible main event star but yet went back to Sheamus.

Whilst it's sad Seth got injured, it's pretty disappointing to see all the potential WWE champions he faced during his reign (ambrose, sting, kane, lesnar) that got left behind after the feud was over only to settle for this. No doubt the past 2years has been the absolute worst of Sheamus' career. He used to put on great matches but now his character flat out sucks, he has zero credibility, his match quality has significantly dropped and we're forced to endure collectively the most underwhelming MITB winner in history. I'm sure nearly everyone is hoping this reign is entirely transitional and lesnar or someone totally rips the belt away in January and restore some kind of order because this is ridiculous.
Totally could see the cash in coming a mile away. It's typical that the guy does crap all for weeks floundering in the mid card, even up to the same day of the PPV only to come back and "totally surprise us all" by winning.

Though I feel that if anyone gets the win for the big one it should be Kofi, he's been pushed then had it taken away so many times in his career. But I would probably mark for any of them if they won the title.

YOU and ONLY YOU have been waiting for this day Nope......I too rejoiced heartily at the " gaelic ascension " FINALLY coming to fruition!!! Seriously though? I was surprised. Maybe now we get Sheamus vs Lesnar & HHH vs Reigns? I think ol Sheamus is only gonna be a short term champ(RR maybe) but I'm happy for him because I have always liked his work.
