If Roman had one it would have been a pointless short title reign because he wasn't ready. Now he can have an entertaining rivalry with Sheamus or it can be Sheamus vs Lesnar which I wouldn't mind seeing. The bottom line is if Roman had won the title ratings would have dropped off.. now everybody who watched last night we'll watch Monday to see what Romans reaction is

So heel Reigns wasn't best for business then? Honestly they made a bad decision. Sheamus is okay, just not as WWE champion, when Reigns or Ambrose vould have been.
Yes...tears were shed alright.

I have no problem with Sheamus holding the title. With all the injuries to their proven top stars it really was the only option they had. Brock has his limited dates so he wasn't an option to win the tournament. Roman still isn't ready and until Ambrose changes his move set he shouldn't be anywhere near the title.

I like Sheamus he can flat out go In the ring, but that felt way to close to the Daniel Bryan storyline from Summerslam

'Yeah, you - yes you - you'll do - get out there and copy just about every opportunistic cash-in...this event needs it.'
That's what it felt like to me...

A few months ago, I would of agreed with you. Now? Yeah, his promos aren't great, but are Sheamus' any better? Reigns' in-ring ability has improved A LOT over the summer.

Nobody has put together a better string of PPV matches this year than Roman Reigns. I agree on the promos but if you're gonna put the belt on Sheamus, he isn't much better. Yea, the ratings are in the tank. Try something new, whether that was Reigns or Ambrose. We've been through Sheamus before. It doesn't work. And this is coming from someone who really enjoys most Sheamus matches.

Reigns winning was anti-climatic. Sheamus cashing in was cat clawing your eyeballs bad.

Since Reigns didn't turn heel, I'm okay with Sheamus. Heel Reigns could be great. If they make Reigns into Cena 2.0 who can never turn heel, he will fail. That is all.

I hated how the commentary made it pretty damn obvious that Roman still wasn't walking out with the title after he had won it. They lose their minds when he beats Big Show in the first round but were much calmer after he won in the finals last night. Also, classic WWE. I'm finally ready to accept Reigns as champ... and they give it to Sheamus.

I really think a heel turn for Roman or Ambrose would have been the right way to go. WWE needs something new & fresh. But I am a fan of Sheamus, so I'm okay with this.
The execution was lackluster & overplayed. I would rather of Sheamus hid under the ring after losing earlier in the night. Just as the show was about to go off the air I'd have had Triple H's music hit. He comes out and introduces "plan B". Then Sheamus runs in and Brogue kick Roman from behind for the win.

He isn't over, he's been jobbing to midcarders, he's had the same horrendous character for years, and he just all around sucks. I had such expectations for Survivor Series and I hated the booking of every major match after Ambrose vs. Owens. The only hope I have is that since they are giving a guy like Sheamus a title reign, maybe there is still hope for Cesaro, because he is actually over and entertaining.

Reigns finally won people's minds over. If he would've beat Sheamus and made him lose the briefcase you created a a new star just like that!!! He would've won a lot of people over but yet give it to the Most stupid looking guy on the roster. Hahaa what a joke! New record low rating tomorrow!
