I loved this ridiculous game when I was a child. My brother and I would turn on infinite kills and play it for hours when we where kids. It was ridiculous, and kinda bad, but we had a lot of fun with it.
Did anyone else like it?

The guy who got me to join WF in the first place had it and we constantly played the hell out of it. Super fun for as silly of a game as it was. Loved it.

I had this as a kid and loved it. Family members who don't like wrestling loved it. As I grew older and saw the online hate for it I was honestly shocked. Only had fond memories of it!

I loved playing the Lumberjack match. That was always my favorite.

I think the hate stemmed from that it wasn't really a wrestling game, just a toned down Twisted Metal with wrestlers instead of ice cream clowns. Which, I mean, I guess is valid but...meh.

It wasn't a bad game, but you had to be a wrestling fan to really enjoy it. If you weren't it just became a poor man's Twisted Metal.

Great example of a bang average game being fun. It happens.

The only WWE game for the ps2 I haven't played. Same here, even as a huge WWE fan I never played this.

I got it with my Christmas money in early 2004. For an 11 year old it definitely served it's purpose and was fun considering I only paid £10 for it. Still have it.
RVD has THE TWISTY ROCKETS!

I recently did a season mode because my internet was out and I had my GameCube hooked up, and man, that game is a roller coaster. It's incredibly fun, but the limitations of last get consoles holds it down in a way.
But man, poor JR being made to see like a bad commentator. They only had the guy record like two lines saying "Edge" and it was mostly just
"nice easy hit... BY EDGE!" It was comical lol.
The little blurbs from the superstars though was always a nice little addition. But I've played worse "wrestling" games, because I'm not sure the category of it.

The only match types I can remember playing a lot in the game with my friends was either battle royal/royal rumble, the one in the subway with the train zooming past & being a hazard with an instant kill upon touching it in the middle of the level.. that and I don't remember what match type it was called but the level featured a pyramid & I think you had to have like ten kills in order to win the darn thing..
The Hardy Boyz were our guys with identical cars with the ladder propped up on the roof only to have different color swaps, good times. ;]
