It's just so obvious to everyone BUT the creative team. Roman Reigns is NOT John Cena. Nor will he ever be. Stop trying SO hard to make him a carbon "super nice guy" copy.

Dean stealing the title made sense. He won by DQ even though he pinned the champ. Seth cheated to keep his title and Dean had a legit claim to it.
Roman stealing the title makes him come off as a sore looser. Sheamus did what every other MITB winner has done.
