I hate how people keep repeating "Oh there's a basic, we don't need a new figure of him, it's a waste of a spot." I'd much rather have a new and improved Tommy Dreamer figure than a figure of Random 80s Jobber #4.

The basic is out of production and we haven't got any Dreamers since. "Random 80s Jobber #4" Ahaha!

When one does not want they assume we don't need.

When I heard JBL last night on Raw mentioning that Tommy Dreamer was the only one to hold the Original ECW championship and the new ECW championship gave me so much hope we will get the new ECW title with Dreamer.

I'd much rather have a new and improved Tommy Dreamer figure than a figure of Random 80s Jobber #4. So you'd rather have "random 90s jobber #436" instead of "random 80s jobber #4". At least the random 80s jobber was likely to hold a title of some sort of relevance in wrestling at some point.

I do recall Bill saying in an interview that he could make the silver ECW belt and just needed the right guy to put it with. Problem solved. This. Sounds cool but I am still happy with the basic. Than again I'd still buy it.

Honestly, I'd much rather have Tommy Dreamer, who was in ECW and part of a great feud with Raven, and was significant in ECW, yet didn't reach the level of stardom in WWE, than a forgettable 80s jobber who held a relevant title but never reached popularity near Dreamer's in ECW, or now.

Essentially what you're trying to say is that whether age or lack of interest at the time or whatever, you dont want 80s guys because you dont know them. Standing at my display and looking, outside of George Steele or Hillbilly Jim maybe, Mattel has never given us a "random 80s jobber" and even those guys were like 5-6 years ago. I mean, if you want to count those guys as jobbers that's fine. However if you're problem is actual jobbers then I hope there is disinterest when we get guys like Brian Pillman, ECW/WCW version of Bam Bam Bigelow & Papa Shango. None of which held any major singles title in the 90s.

I doubt it's time. He only came back on our screens literally days ago. Easy pass for me though

Sorry but while ECW was cool for the time, their titles were irrelevant in the grand scheme. Its not the point though, the point is to not assume someone is a 80s jobber just cause you didnt like them or dont know them. When Mattel releases Mike Sharpe or Jim Powers, then complain about jobbers.

Tommy would be cool. Hopefully it would open the door for other ECW guys.
I suspect we'll get elite Dudleyz and another basic Dreamer.
