I dont mind them having a sale, would have just been nice if they would have told us. You know, those of us that have jobs and work...you know, those that have MONEY to spend on the sales? Oh well, There's another site I can spend the money on.

I still haven't ordered. Black friday i had too many issues and said screw it then thought about it and decided i didn't need anything right now. Oh well, RSC lost a customer.

So is RSC supposed to take a formal poll now on when they should have sales? There were a ton of people last week saying they wished RSC did more sales like this.
Some people missed out on the early bird prices last week due to numerous site issues, which were certainly well documented on this forum. Maybe RSC was just trying to make up for that a bit?
I love saving money as much as the next guy, but sheesh, some of you guys just seem like you chronically need to find something to take umbrage over.

Slap in the face to dedicated customers who madr large orders on black friday, such as myself, only to get the shaft days later ... nice play RSC Some of us missed out though so I guess we could also look at it as a second chance for some of us. Moreover, most likely we'll all be kickin ourselves around Christmas time anyway when prices will probably drop again. Risky business this collecting is. Yea, that's all understood about the whole missing out on Black Friday, but it's supposed to be a one time of year thing. I keep reading posts about how some didn't have the money for Black Friday sale and all that, well that's fine if you have bills that should always come first or have something unexpected come up, thats called being responsible and that's gonna happen in life. However, for the ones that blew all their money and didn't save anything to shop on Black Friday, when they KNOW it happens at this exact same time EVERY YEAR, then I don't feel sorry for them one bit. The 2nd Black Friday sale, imo, is dirty to those customers that spent big bucks on their Black Friday sales, only for a few days later to have the SAME THINGS that the majority probably purchased discounted EVEN MORE and NEW ITEMS ADDED on top of that ! Dirty RSC, really dirty. |

I understand it sux but ya know at least you got some kinda deal True, and thankful they put some stuff up that I decided to get, but it's frustrating seeing the same things that I paid more for AND paid shipping on, which wouldve been easily a $60 difference ... during a sell thats expected only once a year. Im not in the wrong for feeling that way, because the ones that say they wouldnt be are lying to themselves. |

The problem isnt the sales.. The problem is not announcing it. They already shafted me out of $30 from Black Friday to Cyber Monday but dems the breaks. Not even telling us there was going to be a Black Friday 2.0 sale just cost them money though. There's still stuff Id like to buy, stuff that was probably on that sale. But not telling some of us about it I didnt buy it. Therefore when it comes to me buying it Im going to look for the cheapest price, which no offense to RSC, probably isnt them. People can come on here and whine and moan about me saying Im going to spend my money elsewhere but Im more the willing to give RSC the first chance if they just let me know.

Prices didn't even look that different from what I saw. Some items were a buck or two less, but it seemed like quite a few items were the BF price. There was the addition of Elite 39, but it seems like everyone and their brother has been buying that set from Amazon at the same price for a couple of weeks.
And for all we know, this sale was a last-minute decision, perhaps created as a peace offering for the tech issues during the sales last weekend that people were losing their god damn mind over.
I dunno, man. Maybe it's because I've worked in CS in the past, but I just get the vibe from some of these posts that we've got some folks here who nickel and dime the crapout businesses and think that their patronage entitles them to the absolute best at the absolute lowest possible price.
