The word making the rounds in the last day is that former Ring of Honor star Jimmy Rave will be working for TNA at the 9/10-9/11 No Surrender PPV/Impact taping events in Orlando, Florida. I have no idea if he's coming in full-time or is just booked for something of a tryout but he's scheduled for both the PPV and TV. Rave has worked a lot of the Vince Russo "Ring of Glory" religious-themed indy events and there's been talk that Russo has suggested him in the past. Rave departed ROH after requesting a release from his contract a few weeks back.

Well, I hope he has fun facing Petey Williams on TNA Today.
R.I.P. whatever is left of Rave's TV/PPV career.

Hmm, interesting, I think Rave is decent, not a huge fan of his, I hate the guy but respect his in ring abilities. I wonder exactly what he will be doing. Hahaha, I can now heckle him without having to leave the state.

Rave would be a better fit in ECW then he would in TNA. But then again TNA has been leaning more and more towards entertainment in the recent year or so......so he might have a chance to succeed. Besides, he does have that relationship with Russo.

I don't think Rave's that entertaining w/o Prince Nana. i just hope the TNA crowd throws toilet paper at him like in ROH

I hope he enjoys being booked in an angle for two weeks then replaced by Eric Young the next week.

Jimmy Rave has always reminded me of Edge for some reason.

I used to like Jimmy Rave back when I kinda paid attention to Indy wrestling... It's too bad he's going to a sinking ship

Maybe this is why he left ROH.

Rave could wind up the next Kid Kash or Teddy Hart. He can easily pull the political strings, and he's just good enough to deserve a TV spot. However I don't see him doing alot of anything in TNA. Think Delirious and other ROH stars who made cameos in the Nashville days.
I welcome Rave to my TV screen. I'll miss seeing him on my trips to ROH in Jersey.

Rave sucks keep him off WWE television You suck. Rave is greatness, though I guarantee TNA can't find a good way to use him. Even if Russo is pitching out the ideas.

Smackdown TNA is a sinking ship. Have you not watched it recently? Every big person in that company had fame in some other company. WCW made more stars than they have.

From Gerweck.net
- A Tag Team Gauntlet Match is scheduled for the 9/9 No Surrender PPV. As things stand, the newly signed Jimmy Rave will team with Lance Hoyt.
