I sure hope not. I like the DM line. I think they just need to put some new faces in there. I'd like to see a slammy Owen hart, and undisputed Jericho, a u.s./world champ Goldberg (maybe throw in his locker room door or a mini security guard) and maybe even a Trish stratus! The whole hogan thing kinda messed it up. I really do hope it continues but Im not too optimistic after seeing the prices drop on these Of course you can count on hogan to f*ck up the booking lol yeah, but I can't be too hard on ol'hogan. It's because of him that my collection was born. I found his DM figure in a Walmart a while back and it was the day they announced they were taking him off the shelves because of the racist rant he went on, so I bought it, and now I'm free falling down the rabbit hole. I like the variety in Austin's vests thus far. His ring gear figures run together at first glance, but there are several vest design differences to help diversify it up. Legends 1/re-release HOF has the 3 skulls vest, HOF1 has the last match One More Round vest with the 'bullet proof' skull on the back, the All-Stars vest has the rattle snake design, the Ringside one has the red lettering w/ the redneck skull on the back, and now this one has the big Stone Cold singular skull. I think there may be a few more to do (the very brief gold lettering, an earlier vest design, etc.), but kudos to Mattel for changing it up so much.

I bet the second HHH saw this figure he called Mattel and told them to make him a DM figure with a leather jacket and denim vest and 5 title belts.

To be fair, those belts werent near as nice. They used that style since TTL days. I continued to use BCA titles as a kid. HOF plaque wouldve been cool. I'm more annoyed by the hard plastic vest, honestly. His attire could not be more bland, and it's the same set of parts. A non plastic Vest should have been done a whole ago. Even Ziggler's first Elite had a non hard plastic vest. Non hard plastic skin should have been on the figures too, right? |

You're right the vest is different enough for me,plus the skull on his back has red eyes. I am buying this guy no doubt but he'll be the only figure I keep MIB because I have the Legends plus he just looks pretty darn cool in package. Bad thing about the molded vests and shirts are remove them enough times and the painted? designs start to wear off. (RSC Austins skull on the front of the vest has worn almost have the face off now I need a new vest) |

This one and the NWO Wolfpack Kevin Nash are definitely at the top of my list for 2016. The 3 belts with SCSA and the tagged red NEO belt with Nash look great.
