I want to give him a chance being Champion, so I'm interested to see what happens going forward.
And honestly I'd take him over Sheamus as champ any day.

That was great. I don't agree with all of his booking, but I can't hold that against him. He really has stepped up his game since the Rumble. I'm happy for him and hope he can continue to improve.

Imagine that the same crowd who booed the crap out of him earlier this year now with a standing applause cheered his title victory, that must feel great. Reigns has really improved this year.

I still feel it's forced. Don't get me wrong, it makes sense to put him in this situation, but I don't like the fact that he's connected with Dwayne as to WHY he's in the position he's in. I think it's too soon for him to be carrying the company on his back and there are several other well deserving, more talented, and more experience individuals who can excel in that role.

Get over it. The decision was made so tuff shyt. Besides not all Rocks cousins get the royal treatment not even Reigns to an extent. When Cena first got the Gold he didn't have to face the same adversity as Reigns. The underdog angle further detracts any connections one can make with the Rock. Reigns has his own identity whether people like him or not. Honestly if Reigns can stay in the game long enough I can see him becoming a major draw with enough development in his character and ring performance. It all comes down to longevity and it factor. |

Tbh it works. We didnt want him 12months ago as we hadn't felt he'd worked up to that level. So he wins the royal rumble and gets booed. Fair enough. Since then hes been in the picture but not winning. Like we wanted.
And in this past year he has absolutely in my mind earned the spot now. The story worked out well enough to build his believability.
And he had a story to win the belt and redemption not just rr->wm-> champ.

I never thought a year ago that I'd be a Roman fan. But he really stepped it up this year, and earnt my respect. He's going to be a badass champ, that's for sure.

How many of Dwayne's cousins apart from Reigns and the Uso's have made it big? Seriously those 3 guys have worked their asses off to get where they are now and didn't use the help of Dwayne once.
Also the last champion was Sheamus who can't draw a dime so surely those other more deserving talent could've had his Reign instead.
