The only way he truly could have got over is by taking the strap off sheamus. WWE fans hate sheamus so much they would have cheered anybody. They would have cheered for Anna Kendrick,they would have cheered for Kenny Rodgers.
I'll give it a chance but I'm not honestly crazy about Reigns. Hope he proves me wrong. Also my personal opinion, needs new wrestling attire.

I'm still not a big fan of him. But Inwas there and this was awesome to see. I'm just glad it's not Sheamus anymore.

They should've let Sheamus hold it until the Rumble. I'll never be happy with Reigns as champion, but there needs to be a Cena, and even though this isn't saying much, better him than actual Cena

I'm glad he won the title. I never was a follower or bandwagon jumper. I've been a fan of Roman Reigns since day one. Its about time they put the strap on him!

I'm fine with him being champion now. Everything fell into place. This time, it isn't forced. Well it isn't as forced as past attempts, but they built a scenario where it's fine. They put the belt on a person considered to be "worse" by the internet, made him really annoying, then Daniel Bryan/Austin'd him so the cards would be against him winning. If he beat Rollins, he'd probably have more considerable boos. No seemed super excited when he beat Ambrose. They just orchestrated it for people to be like "well...alright". However I will say I love the "Roman is banned" angle. He really does work when he comes out of nowhere to assault people. Had that been his gimmick months ago, great. |
