TNA is always trying to do "big and shocking" things. They're never looking towards the long term.

Goldberg is good for headlines and a quick boost in the ratings. But what exactly can you do with him? You dont have a roster or a core of heels that could feud with Goldberg. Would we really buy into a Goldberg/EC3 feud?

I'd watch TNA if this happened. But.. TNA?! The opening POP show will get what, 500k viewers at absolute best? I don't see the cost on Goldberg being slightly beneficial for TNA. It's not like he's going to bring in millions of fans behind him.

They also tried to sign CM Punk.
It didn't happen. Doubt this will, either. Even if it did, it won't have any major impact (heh) in the long-run.

It'd be such a TNA thing to do. Cause they won't advertise it, and they'll blow off a huge wad of money.

I expect nothing less from TNA with designs to try and blow their wad on a big-name signing right off the bat.

Just like when they tried to bring in Edge and Del Rio when they debuted on DA....it won't happen.

They're going to sign a guy that hasn't wrestled in like 10 years?

Wow, that's awesome. I can't wait to see Goldberg face Samoa Joe.
Oh, wait.
Hold on.
It's not 2007?

They're going to sign a guy that hasn't wrestled in like 10 years? Vintage TNA I guess Dixie is still trying to appeal to WCW fans who haven't watched in 15 years.

Keep him far away from EC3.
