I use excel and have separate tabs for Jakks, Mattel, LJN, Hasbro, etc. In each tab, there are the following columns: Name, Series, Loose or MOC, Notes

I started a spreadsheet but I've since forgotten about it until this thread. I was using it mostly to track the total amount of Mattel Elites I own. Quick reference.

I sometimes forget my spreadsheet of my figures, so I keep a spreadsheet of my spreadsheet, which I store in a locked vault along with all my other highly important documents and items. Now if only I could remember where that vault is..

I have spreadsheet checklist that contains every Mattel figure made and it broken down by line and series. It took a lot of time, but it's great for when I add new figs to the collection. I can post screencap if you need. *EDIT*

I have a spreadsheet only for the figures I want separated by Elites, Basics, Battle Packs & Other. When I add a figure to my collection I delete it from the spreadsheet. I never knew anybody else did one.

It depends how detailed you want to be, but some of the things I would use are name of wrestler, Series (Basic, Battleack, Elite, etc), Condition (Moc or loose), where I bought it (Walmart, ToysRUs, EBay, Ringside, etc.), how much I paid for it (so I know if I bought it on sale, retail, paid above retail) and a column for various notes (Exclusive, box set, etc.). Hope this helps.

Man, I really wish I had started doing one of these at the start of my mattel collection. It would be really cool info to have, but I had no idea how out of control it would get back then lol.

Sounds a little obsessive to make a spreadsheet over a hobby. I just take a pic to admire and serves as documentation of what I have.

I once had a spreadsheet for my Championship Title Belts, because I had so many, but the computer where I had it saved crashed, so I decided not to start another one up again. At my last count, I had 143 Championship Title Belts ranging from the Jakks action figure sized ones to my Ultra Deluxe Undisputed Championship Title Belt and everything in-between.

Just FYI- It is updated to the most recently confirmed series, but does have my personal collection markings (moc/loose)
