Hey, i am trying to brush up on my Jakks figure history and in the BCA style, i know that there were the older original BCA figures and then there were the newer ones in the Backlash series and stuff but when did they first release the new style ones?

Bone Crunching Superstars Series 1 was the first series of new BCA style figures released to stores in August 2001. The lineup consists of Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H and Undertaker.  |

I never owned one but where they as good as the original BCA's? No, but they are occasionally worthwhile additions to a BCA figure collection. The most redeeming features of the early 2000s BCA figures are the heads and feet. Heads because Real Scan technology trumps just about anything done during the original BCA line, and feet (or legs) because they were more sturdy than original BCA legs for those that like to display their old Jakks figures. Chicago have you ever considered writing a book on BCA figures? I don't know about a book, but I would like to put together a guide for anyone who may be interested in collecting them. I've still got a ways to go before I'd ever feel comfortable writing about their history, but delving into this line has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. |

Your review was great because it was very logical and objective. Action figure reviews usually descend into "I like this because blah blah", or even worse "I like this". Keep the opinions minimal and the facts in focus.

- never liked these bca figures, prefered the old type but by the time they bought these out i was too fall removed from bca
