Jannetty was going to happen regardless of the Rumble. Sure it sucks that Charles Austin was paralyzed, but Marty was never going to wind up being as big as HBK. There has to be a "the other guy from Wham!" on pretty much every team.
Bulldog, Hercules, Guerrero, Hardy, and Umaga were due to personal choice and addiction.
Berzerker and Doink were comic relief and thus, always had an expiration date on their careers.
Doug Gilbert was a curse to himself.
Like the post even said, DDP was older when he started his career, it's not surprising that he wound up being hurt in the end. Hell, he's probably more famous now than he was when he was an active wrestler. No curse there.
Rikishi is hardly cursed. I feel like that HOF spot probably proves that.
Mercury = Jannetty.
MVP and Masters? Eh...not everyone can be a star.
And Mysterio was cursed with all those title reigns, money, and fame...I was to be cursed like that too.
