I watched most of Impact last night (well the morning after). I thought it was good, nothing too spectacular, but it was enjoyable. Only part I didn't like was anything involving Willow. Always hated that gimmick from day one it debuted. Cherry Bomb looked smokin hot and so did Maria in that vignette. Eli Drake is growing on me. I still think he's nothing more than a midcarder, but he's growing on me. I like the Fact of Life segment. Also, personal life aside, Bram looks like a future main eventer IMO

yeh...i really thought Brodus Clay would be better post WWE. And i was wrong. I was pretty high on him back in the day. the main event finish was very WWE....but it was entertaining w/ all the silly highspots at the end. Same. He's probably best served as a Matt Hardy bodyguard at this point. The bodyguard role just works for him. It worked when he was with Del Rio, it worked when he was with EC3 and we saw it briefly work with Matt. He'd probably be awesome in a tag team with Rockstar Spud. I can see that making for a good dynamic. His size is enough to get him by. I think you optimize that by putting him in a hot tag, Titus O'Neil/Big Cass, type of role. I just have zero expectation of him being anything on his own anymore. |

Just saw this weeks Impact and that Last Man Standing Match was great, even though Tyrus stole the Tongan Death Grip, the Samoan Spike and the Big Ending while using them all in succession. EC3s snow leopard attire looked good and too bad TNA doesnt have an action figure deal anymore since I would love to see that on a figure.

I really enjoyed the last Impact. Matt Hardy continues to crush it every week and remain one of my favorite wrestlers going right now. I don't think Matt gets enough credit with reinventing himself so many times throughout his career.
I do think Allie sounds and acts a lot like Taryn Terrell, but that may just be me.
The feud between Lashley & Galloway has been amazing! A straight up feud of two guys just beating the hell out of each other.
Slammiversary has had great set-up and I quite frankly cannot wait to see the PPV.
I still love everything about the Snow/Grado feud so I enjoyed their match and both of their promos beforehand.

Since about three-four weeks into the POP move they've been putting on great shows and telling great stories. All in all, I feel like they are putting on a better weekly wrestling show than Raw. |
