I'd just come to terms on this fig never seeing the light of day and now these pics surface 2 days after I've decided to begrudgingly splash out a bit on the RSC cactus as I believed hof 3 jack was dead. **** sake. Think I'm gonna cry.

I really wish we knew what happened. There's no way it got this far in production only for for Mattel to find out that oops, they don't have the rights to Foley after all.

I really wish we knew what happened. There's no way it got this far in production only for for Mattel to find out that oops, they don't have the rights to Foley after all. It's a rerelease that simply needed a package mock up. There is nothing in that picture that Mattel didn't already have sitting around except a little bit extra paint and the box art, which Office Depot could print for under 5 dollars. I'm just saying, I wouldn't take this as a sign of anything. Now if this were a totally new figure . . . but it's not. |

Yeah, but the other retail HOF figures have Foley on the box under a sticker covering him up. It got far enough along for these MOC promotional photos to get constructed and the rendered pics sent to WWE.COM to promote Ringside Fest. This thing came incredibly close to coming out. |
