Fixing L3's height was the easiest thing to do. Some of you guys are so dramatic. Do NOT buy a whole HOF pack just for the calves. The biggest issue I had with it was his horribly ratcheted hips. The hair color on the new one looks more natural. His legs are really skinny though. I disagree. I switched the calfs from Finlay to Perfect and it was still too tall. Nothing dramatic about it. |

While I still love the first figure because it was Mr Perfect. It was terribly out of scale. Both height and mass wise. Glad they corrected the height and gave him larger arms (although to ripped) to hide his body's mass. but in a perfect world he would have a new thicker torso and maybe some new larger less ripped arms. Still for what it is I can't complain.

A new, thicker singlet torso is needed for when/if we eventually get the Steiners. This Hennig figure would have been a great spot to debut it.

I'm sure I am in the minority but I prefer the basic over both of his elite figures..Hopefully we will get an NWO Curt Henning sooner than later.

Very cool, the initial reprts made it seem like they only changed the arms. Looks like they changed the thigh pieces to bring him back down a couple inches. Bravo MDT:)

What was wrong with his height in the first place? I'm pretty sure they used an existing formula (Jack Swagger, possibly?) instead of using different parts to achieve the appropriate height. |

it would make so much more sense for them to put the thigh swivel articulation under the shorts. It would look cleaner and the colors would match

I was always under the impression after what Bill said, that he was gonna be way too tall still. Those pics just got me so amped to find that set now!!
Doubt I ever will tho. My target just did their reset. HOF1&2 mix case and Horsemen galore.

I still swapped the calves on the orange singlet Mr Perfect with Tully Blanchard calves. I think that makes him look much better.

I've heard that some have used Elite 20 Cody Rhodes calves to fix Perfect's height. Would Elite 32 Cody work as he's much easier to find. Or would Bo Dallas calves work?

I put Cody Rhodes calves on mine and he's the same height as HOF. It no reason to stop collecting like some people said. |

I didn't have Cody calves available so I used Hacksaw calves and swapped them for Legends Perfect. It did the job. Will provide pictures later.

Hey guys, it's not just about the calves.
Height on these wrestlers is also achieved by the knee-joint disc (for lack of a better description). Mattel has varying sizes of discs that attach the thighs to the calves. The smallest ones being on guys like Dean Malenko and the Rockers. I've done a number of things to reduce my Legends Perfect height, but to get a good-looking figure, he needs to have big calves and not skinny ones like Finlay and Funk.
I'm not sure what Mattel chose for this Perfect but it looks like Funk calves. But I'm curious to see if they used a smaller knee disc too.

This made me so much more excited to get this set. That first perfect elite was so bad. Now I just have to find a target that's not flooded with horsemen packs
