after spending many hours admiring the customs on here i decided to have a bash myself. i've messed around with head and part changes for a while but this is my first attempt at painting. i must say top marks to all the customisers on here as having attempted a figure myself i realise how much effort and time you lot put into your stuff. anyway heres the figure, i have ditched the kenny head that was causing the problems and replaced it with a kid kash. i've stuck this on ebay if anyones intrested cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320133268954&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=011 any comments or advice appriciated. how do you lot tackle painting around the joints ? while i was doing this one i had major problems getting the joint areas painted well.

Not Bad. I don't see any flaws.

the waist and the top of the legs,
to get a smooth paint finish and ensure the paint covers the area around the joints is well tricky
thanks for the comments by the way, i will change the head when i get hold of something more suitable. i did consider modding a chris jericho ad16 head but didn't have the nerve, maybe a project for the future

Nice paint job. WHat kind of paint did you use? How many coats? 2 coats of acrylic on the pink as it was a blue kurt angle body and the 2nd coat was needed.

It's good, a bit plain but you pulled it off well. I'd suggest using a DA Kenny head for it though as I don't recall Owen wearing a headband.

Looks much better with the Kash head instead of Kenny.

Good custom. Seriously brilliant. You should be proud of yourself. You could perhaps add some black paint to the attire but it's good.
