As of now it can only go two ways;
- Triple H enters at #30, eliminating Reigns at the final hurdle to win the Royal Rumble and WWE World Heavyweight Championship, while the Wyatt's take out Lesnar from the Rumble. We get Triple H vs Roman Reigns for the Title and Brock Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania, with Lesnar vs the rest of the Wyatt's in a Handicap at Fast Lane.
Or,
- Triple H enters at #30, taking Reigns out of the Rumble at the last hurdle and eliminating himself in the process, with Brock Lesnar going on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. We get Triple H vs Roman Reigns at Fast Lane, followed by Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns for the Title and The Rock vs Triple H at Wrestlemania.
Either way, Reigns is winning the Title at Wrestlemania, and not retaining at the Rumble. If he wins the Rumble by defeating 29 other men and retaining his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the process, then where does he go from there? Anybody he faces at Wrestlemania he'd have already faced in the Rumble, and it would be damn hard believing that anyone who becomes number one contender at Fast Lane could go on to beat that man. Plus, they've held Triple H from TV this long for the inevitable.
The only thing I can hope for is that this whole John Cena injury is a work, something I never thought I'd say.

More fuel to the fire:
AJ Styles was confirmed to be "available" for a farewell appearance in Ring of Honor. They contacted him, he accepted, and he'll be there this Saturday. In Georgia. In a non-wrestling role. Quick trip to Orlando.

The superstars from the 8 man tag on Raw + Wyatts, Social Outcasts and League of Nations + Reigns, Y2J, Brock, Big Show, Ryback and Ziggler = 26 confirmed entrants. There's also the likes of Kane, New Day, Dudleys, Ambrose, Owens, Usos and HHH who we're not sure are in or not. I hope we see at least a couple of surprises because that's one of the things I look forward to most in the rumble. Yup, I am feeling like there will be a max of one surprise entrant this year, going to be pretty much all lower card this year. WWE has announced The Dudley Boyz vs. The Ascension vs. Jack Swagger and Mark Henry vs. Darren Young and Damien Sandow in a Fatal Four Way tag team match will take place on the WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff show Sunday night. The winners will earn a spot in the Rumble match. I thought the Ascension and Mark Henry were already in the Rumble, so a couple of spots for surprises are opened up

That pre-show match is such a joke. Guess we know the Prime Time Players are done now so Titus can continue to fail as a singles wrestler. Or, something.

I just hope Axel isn't eliminated this year. I love this running gag that he's been in the rumble for a year now. I hope it never ends.

Sandow should be in the Rumble. No ifs ands or buts about it, he needs to be in it.

Random but Im surprised WWE is running the Rumble this weekend as opposed to next. With the NFL playoffs concluding this Sunday, next Sunday is pretty much free against just the Pro Bowl. Obviously with the WWE Network its different but I would think they want more people watching and being active on social media at the same time.
But what the hell do I know, really.

My general assumption is that WWE had the date for the Rumble blocked out on their calendar before the NFL announced their schedule. The Rumble is actually taking place the same weekend that it always does, more or less. It's the NFL that's off. They started the season a week late, which pushed the Championship games to coincide with the Rumble rather than the week before. I don't think WWE would have intentionally done it this way had they known.

Y doesn't the wwe just announce Barrett is hurt instead of running him out there to disappear when the all out brawl begins. No way is he in the rumble.

Haven't read a single spoiler. It's unpredictable and I'm desperately trying to keep it that way. Looking forward to seeing where they go from here.

Im calling it now. Cena isnt actually injured. He comes back at the Rumble & with the help of Triple H becomes the WWE Champion and "Corporate Cena" as well as a long awaited heel. The only way you can make Reigns the #1 face (which is what WWE keeps trying to do) is to take the #1 face and turn him heel to feud against him.

If that happens, YET AGAIN, I'm going to make a strong argument that every single "injury" John Cena has had is covering up him failing the wellness test for steroids.

His injury and the timing just seems "odd" to me. I swear when he had his other surgeries it seemed like they made a big deal about it. They took him off TV for a couple months to film a movie and to test the waters with him not as "the guy" then he comes back and the reaction is still meh, has what, one or two matches and then is hurt and just quietly disappears again? Just seems fishy to me. Im probably looking too much into it though.
