I see these Zombie figures being used in feds across the country in a very Lucha Underground type way.....if you get what I'm saying. I'm not on twitter, so please for no other reason than my personal amusement, someone tweet Jim Cornette a pic of those zombie figures and let the hilarity ensue!

We need to crap or get off the pot here at WFIGs.... To be fair, I thought the placeholders were stupid too. We hear all these stories about Mattel wanting to cut the budget and limit articulation, and then to see money being allocated to a line that I very much see flopping despite Zombie popularity seems like a dumb decision and a waste of resources to me. I mean, imagine if the aforementioned resources had gone towards the Defining Moments Sting instead? Maybe we could have gotten a soft goods jacket. Obviously I'm just playing armchair businessman here and I could be completely wrong. I don't mean to crap on Bills work as I have a tremendous amount of respect for the effort he puts in to everything. This line just isn't for me, but it's obviously not meant to be. To each their own though.

If people don't like them, that's cool. It's not taking away from the Elite or Basic line. It'll be its own separate entity.

To each their own though. Yes, you are completely wrong. The money put into a zombie figure is for a figure that carries a $12.99 retail price. So for those eight figures, that's $103.92. If Mattel were putting the development/production budget for $103.92 worth of extra figures onto the budget of each Defining Moments Sting, that Defining Moments Sting then costs $103.92 on top of its usual price... So we're looking at about $130 for a Defining Moments Sting. No matter how much someone likes dressing up their wrestlers like Barbies in soft goods, people aren't looking to pay $130 for that figure just because it would come with an inaccurate cloth jacket.

Who said anything about moving the entire budget from this line onto DM Sting? Besides, there's no need for attitude or hostility. I wasn't trolling or posting flamebait. I simply stated an opinion, I even mentioned that it didn't have much merit due to not knowing the entire situation, so relax a bit.

I'm gonna be "that" guy and say we probably won't see zombie figures for guys whom that label could potentially be accurate for.
Edit: I will say i had a legit dream about zombie Eddie Guerrero returning to the ring. Although he could speak and was not after brains....anyway if that figure comes to pass someday....I'll pick that one up.

You wondered if you were wrong, I was just confirming that you were, and showing you how the "don't make these things I don't like, spend that development money on this other thing that I do like" plan doesn't work with the financial targets.
