So glad I didn't get my hopes up for WWE at Toy Fair this year. They didn't show anything we haven't seen and the zombie line is ridiculous. Glad Im gonna be able to save some money with WWE figures this year.

We say it every year. Like a blind date, LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOR TOYFAIR! I still get a kick out of everyones depression during the show. "We want more" " Mattel raped my current vibe" " Toy Fair is pointless" " #TF2016sucks".. Hahaha Din't worry. WWE isn't the only line that had a soft soft soft reveal this weekend. Hasbro's Star Wars line was a literal kick in the pants. Star Wars just killed the box offices, and they show off 5 figures. Haha Hasbro has become a joke with its Star Wars line. This biggest winner would be DC and hasbro's Marvel Legends line. The Batman Animated Series Clayface is a dream come true. The X-Men/Deadpool Marvel Legends will be mine. technically the DC stuff was revealed early during the week. So if we lump RSC Jericho into the reveals....this was the best Toy Fair showing for WWE figs since 2012. I wish Mattels WWE brand wasn't treated like a 2nd class citizen of the action figure world. WWE is a huge brand...and the toylines sell. The line deserves more respect. Neca sends that randy falk dude. MattyCollector sends one of the guys that works on He-Man....and He-Man figures aren't even sold in stores. Bill should be allowed to go. Its like Mattel has him locked up in a basement so he can churn out these 9 figure basic waves a month. Where was GI Joe??? is Gi Joe dead again It's not about allowing Bill to be there. Bill has said many times that he wants to reveal figures at fan events like SDCC and RSF and not press events like Toyfair. While it's disappointing to not get reveals here, that's a thing I like about him. |

As I stated early in the thread, this is what was expected from Mattel so not surprised there. However, I'm pretty surprised that we didn't see anything new from WCT for the ASR. Maybe they aren't selling as well as they hoped and aren't investing anything new towards them.

I think the GAB Sting scan would look alot better to people if the mouth was painted better. The whole inside of the mouth (teeth and gums) is white. But if the gums on both sides of the mouth weren't white it would look more like teeth and not a mouth piece. Still not sure how noticeable it will be with the naked eye in person. But in a blown up pic it is very noticeable.

I tried reading the entire 33+ pages but got pissed at some point as it turned into a discussion about purple camo edge AGAIn.. So I just figured I'd post the question. Thanks!

Didn't realize how big those jumbo figures were from the initial pictures. I originally thought they were similar in scale to the original Hasbro figures which would have been pretty cool. Depending on price, may get them to display with my championship belts. Also wonder if the Zombie figures will be placed in the regular release schedule (possibly the October line-up) or if they will be their own thing. Either way, after watching the video, I will for sure preorder that Undertaker.

No mention whatsoever about WWE Matty figures. Which was the sole reason my interest in Toyfair was up this year. IF, and thats still a very big if, they bring WWE back to Matty in any capacity, i doubt we will hear anything about it now until SDCC. On another note, i figured we would see more on that MITB ASR from WCT. Hopefully thats still in the works. |

I LOVE that SummerSlam Heritage line... Hacksaw looks great, plus we'll finally get a SummerSlam '92 Bulldog  . Still not sold on the Jericho scan/likeness, but I love the attire - and it should look great MOC. The Zombie line looks pretty cool... it's not really my thing, but I can see the appeal - the Triple H one looks sick(!). It's a shame they won't be doing that Hogan one though... he looked fantastic.  |

Thanks! nope. at last years SDCC...they announced they would be working w/ WWE again in 2016, at the MattyCollector Panel. Its been 7 months since then, and they haven't made a peep about it. You would think that they would mention it at their Toy Fair event. Being thats its the first event of 2016....the year that they will be working w/ the WWE license. It wouldn't make much sense to wait till SDCC again. Why announce something at SDCC 2015...if ur not going to talk about it until SDCC 2016? the only hope i saw for toyfair/wwe/matty was that in a Pixel Dan video...when talking about attending the MattyCollector event, he mentioned WWE. Matty hasn't had WWE product in years....so why would Pixel Dan mix up and mention WWE...unless they were also on the list. And matty had a their own separate event offsite |
