I have an Edge shrine with my collection, on My Edge shrine are Mattel and Jakks edge figures, so I'm wondering, what's the first Edge figure that was ever made? I need the first Edge so I can add it to the shrine.

Did they ever explain why Edge had the Triple H legs (including belt buckle) in the BCA days?

Did they ever explain why Edge had the Triple H legs (including belt buckle) in the BCA days? Yeah, I never understood that. Though, I do have a Superstars 7 Edge with the Billy Gunn legs. They are alright for if you wanna do Edge's old spin kick that he used to do with those legs. But the Triple H style legs were weird. Hey Chicago can you explain any of this?? You are the BCA master around here haha

If you're looking for Edge's first ever Jakks figure, that would be his Superstars Series 7 BCA figure from January 1999. I wish I could explain the reasoning behind there being so many clones in the BCA line, but the truth is that I have no records of anyone from Jakks acknowledging this practice. It was likely the only way they could get the product out as soon as possible, so reusing sculpts and mismatching existing parts became the norm in order to keep up with the relentless schedule. Triple H for Edge is no more confusing than Mark Henry for Dr. Death or "Marvelous" Marc Mero for Droz later on.

What about the Billy Gunn legs for that Edge figure?? Because that's how mine is. Yes, I'm familiar with that and other variations, but the only one I own is the one with all Series 6 HHH parts pictured above. Jakks just LOVED to mix-and-match parts, so you're likely to find these variations: 1. All Series 6 HHH parts 2. Series 6 HHH torso with 2 Tuff Series 2 Billy Gunn arms and legs 3. Series 6 HHH torso AND legs with 2 Tuff Series 2 Billy Gunn arms I'll have to check and see if I can find one with Series 6 HHH torso and arms and 2 Tuff Series 2 Billy Gunn legs.

The one with Billy Gunn legs was better. I was fine with the reusing of parts, but why they decided to add that little crustache on his lip was beyond me.

You seriously need to get the 1/3000 Toyfare exclusive. It's my favorite Edge figure, and I have all the Mattel's and a few other Jakks.

I have all of Edge's basics and (soon will) have one of his elites. (I bought E13 Edge off a guy in the classifieds). But yeah, I also have a bunch of Jakks Edge figures from my childhood on my Edge shrine. Once it's complete with one of every Edge figure, ever(I will not be buying any rereleases) I'll post pics of it. It currently has all of Edge's basics, (except B58, which I'll get when it hits retail), a work in progress custom elite of Edge from WM22, a bunch of RA Edges (I'm pretty sure I have almost all RA Edges, I'm missing a few), 1 DA Edge (again, need the rest), 1 TTL Edge and 1 R3 Tech Edge. I still have to get all of his BCA's, and the rest of his TTL and R3 figures.

The Edge BCA that I already have is the Signature Series 3 figure, so now all I need to do is get the rest. That's again, really appreciate the list, makes collecting them a whole lot easier.

Superstar series 7 is cool but if you want the best BCA Edge figure, you gotta go with Backlash series 3 Edge in the blue tights.
