Its just another PPV and has been surpassed by Money in the Bank, which was better than Summerslam from 2010-2014. Surivor Series 2007 and 2008 were 2 of the worst PPVs in recent memory. If you think 2007 and 2008 were bad you haven't had the misfortune of suffering through the 2013, 2014 and 2015 versions.

I see MITB as the 4th biggest event of the year. But that's because the result of the MITB match has consequences on stories for up to the next year. There's nothing else like that.
The Survivor Series tag matches literally don't matter. They need to give these 5 on 5 matches something to make them matter. They did that well with Cena vs Authority, then they negated the purpose of the match weeks later. Something different. Maybe a WWE world heavyweight title match at TLC for the sole survivor or survivors. Or something to do with the RR. Number 30 to the sole survivor. If there are multiple survivors, they face off for it.

What about Summerslam? It's been like a ordinary PPV for the last few years so it's unfair to target Survivor Series. Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania still stand out but the other 2 are just the same.
Also classing Money in the bank as part of the big 4 is just laughable. The whole concept of it is a joke. It gives wrestlers cheap title shots when they cash in if the champion is vulnerable instead of them winning in a proper match. It was cool and unique originally but now it's got stale.

You're spot on. I've said this since 2012.
