Stopped at one yesterday that I had not been to since the first of December and the set had been shrunken down considerably.
2 rows of battle packs, 2 rows of basics and 2 rows of elites.
Is this just a specific store situation or a trend with TRU?

They do it every year after the holidays. Then expand it for the holiday season. At least that is how my area TRU's have operated the last 2-3 years.

My TRU did not change the size of the WWE section. It is as big as it has always been. There are actually TWO WWE sections in my TRU. One section near the front of the store, and the regular isle section.

All of mine have been like that since they dedicated 3 aisles to Starwarsmania, I blame Mickey Mouse. One of them had an additional WWE section in front for about a month, until they turned it into a wall of Skylanders.

one more reason i don't waste my time with toys r us. isn't wwe the best selling action figure line? so why the hell would you shrink the top selling line to 6 pegs at a store that strictly sells TOYS. meanwhile, target and walmart did the exact opposite.

Tmnt and starwars are the tops when it comes to boys toys.

Same at mine. They cut way into the section to add shelving that they have housed the dozens and dozens of Batman v. Superman figures that have been warming for weeks. They are uUuUuUuggggggglyyyyy!

Jakks UFC is the best selling action figure line and the WWE section at TRUs have been shrinking because they are giving the shelf space to Jakks UFC instead.
