Yea.......no. As much as i like AJ Styles, he's not Hall of Fame, yet. If he becomes a huge star under the WWE umbrella, then i can see it. I know there's people who are in the hall of fame that have not done much in wwe, but they all did something important in a territory that WWE owns the library of.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! AJ certainly has a chance to change that. Sting is a LEGEND. AJ is fantastic, but far from legendary. Totally disagree. He's held the NJPW and TNA Heavyweight Championships as well as other titles. He's had some of the best matches and some good stand out moments. If ing Koko B Ware is in for doing absolutely NOTHING, then right now AJ is a 100% lock. Koko was working the territories as far back as the late 70s. He was already a 10+ year vet before making it to the WWF. Then had almost a 7 year run in the WWF, including an upper mid card run towards the start of his run. And he did main event Survivor Series 88, even if he wasn't the draw. He also had a very memorable gimmick and attracted a lot of people who otherwise wouldn't have been fans. Considering Vince Sr's limo driver, Drew Carey, Arnold Schwarruiwnskmamzmaiizkfnaggeurzier, and murderer Jimmy Snuka are in the HOF.. people need to get off Koko's back. What did Sunny do to be a HOFer? Her WWF run only lasted 3 years and by the end of 96 she was lost. so about a year and a half as a draw. that's a HOF run?

NJPW isn't a big enough of pull yet and TNA doesn't exist. Therefor, as of right now, no.

Do you not hear commentary calling him "kid"? They think he is a new rookie despite being as old as John Cena.

Not just yet but his New Japan run is being mentioned alot and i feel like they are actually taking that seriously. So ifhehas a few good years with the company (which IMO it seems that he will be a big ing deal) then I could definitely see it happening. His TNA run means absolutely nothing to the WWE at the moment. I doubt that will change. If anything they would say he is a former NWA World Champion.

Obviously he hasn't don't anything in WWE, that wasn't the point. I was curious if his NJPW, and NWA titles were enough to get him consideration. Maybe someone can educate me on this as well, is there a general wrestling HOF?

first of all, its kind of ridiculous to have a AJ HOF thread already. AJ has only been in the WWE for a week. AJ still has a LONG road ahead of him if he decides to stay. he is HOF worthy but not right now

Off topic a bit here, but i fully believe WWE should be noting the fact that hes a former NWA champion as much as his NJPW reign. Simply because it helps etablish him as an accomplished guy with a reputation in the eyes of casual fans. It just helps build his aura......and can be done in such a way that does not promote or acknowledge TNA in the least. The WWE has been pretty good about acknowledging the importance of the NWA title is its documentaries and historical references over the years. And even though we know the NWA title Styles held was a diminished version of that title, casual viewers may not,and might associate Style accomplishment with that of major NWA champions of the past ,that they may well be getting educated to through the network.
