Grand Theft Auto IV. It's not even that I didn't like it, but the lack of check points. It's one thing to start a mission all over again but to have to drive to it again too? GTA IV was one of the most satisfying games to beat. Amazing game.

All the long drives did get frustrating at times.

I'm currently playing Witcher 2 and that might end up on my list. It does a lot of things well and I don't want to knock it but I just find it incredibly boring. I don't want to have to wonder around a map that's small and hard to read for thirty minutes hoping to find Nekkar nests, because the game apparently expects me to know where they are.

GTA IV is the first one that comes to mind for me. I played it for like 3 hours on release day and then never again. However, GTA V reignited my love for the franchise. Although the single player felt shortchanged in a lot of ways, it was overall a beautiful game. The best one to me will always be San Andreas though. What a ing game!

I also bought GTA V's special edition (80$). Played the main story once and hated it. Thought it did everything wrong that was established in GTA IV. The characters were all incredibly unlikable , and the story wasn't even half as good as IV. Didn't play any side missions or anything, beat the main story and haven't played it since. I've gone back to IV and have enjoyed it much more.

Almost happened to me with Watch Dogs. Its was a pain to finish the main story. Did not get my money's worth whatsoever. I also have Sleeping Dogs but never finished it. Enjoyed the game while I played it but haven't touched it in over a year. Now GTA V is a whole different story... Got it for PS3, PS4 and PC beat the story probably 3-4 times. Over 1000+ hours spent on story/online combined.

GTA IV for the Xbox 360. I must of bought this game years ago, I originally bought it for the online multiplayer to play with friends who are big fans of the game but after a while I tried tackling the single player story myself but I could never invest the time & effort into it, I'd play for an hour or so but always had to turn away & play something else instead. The characters are kind of bland, the horrible driving mechanics which feel like you're always slipping on ice or something was a pain, the dull colors & graphics don't help & make it a little depressing to play, the lack of checkpoints which meant if I ed up which is highly likely then I'm gonna have a lonnnnnngggggg ass drive back AGAIN well fak that shet..
Just everything about that game rubs me the wrong way, GTA V is the superior game to me.
Although I will give it another shot at some point, it is always lurking in the shadows of my game library..

Destiny, Elder Scrolls Oblivion & Skyrim, so many sidequests, not that it's a bad thing, I just lost interest due to other game releases before I could get them all done.
Never did complete Legend of Dragoon either, got onto disc three one time though.

I have played the 1st half of GTA 5 at least 6-7 times. I keep losing my save data. I will finish it one day. haha

Probably Dragonball Xenoverse. I bought it on launch and the season pass and liked it at launch but stopped playing for other games. Came back to it recently after having played the Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm games and noticed just how dull the combat in Xenoverse feels. I doubt I will play it much further.

Never beat Black Ops 2 story mode, and I've only beaten 2 out of my 6 3DS games. Also I've had GTA 5 for 3 years, and haven't beaten story mode.

Skyrim, The Last of Us, Watch Dogs, COD Ghosts, WWE 2K16 Career and Showcase, I just play with Universe.
These are all kinda recent, I guess as a kid I was just more stubborn on finishing a game than I am now. I'll try and beat The Last of Us at some point, and probably Ghosts and Watch Dogs as well, but they all lost my interest after a few days and I never ended up starting again.
