Last time I watched WWE was 2011-2012. I remember the product being so dull and dismal that I barely remember anything that was happening then.
Last week right before the Rumble I took a gamble and ordered the WWE network on an impulse. The product is far from perfect, but I'm absolutely loving it. There seems to be more actual wrestling overall, and I'm seeing some great up and coming superstars such as Dean Ambrose, Paige, and the Wyatt family. I feel like I'm gonna be a fan for the long term now. Only thing that I find really stupid and really bothers me is The New Day.
As for TNA, I might check it out if I see it on TV, but I feel like I have no interest. It's never felt right when I've watched it in the past.
So, is it just me, or is the WWE product better than it was 4 or so years ago? Also, how good do you see the company being from here on in?

Ehhhh, I think it's something everyone has to judge for themselves. If you ask me, no - 2015 was an abysmal year for WWE, and 2016 looks to be off to a rocky start.
Obviously, the roster being half dead from injuries hurts, but focusing the show on Roman Reigns, and still failing to break up the monotonous booking of RAW each week are huge glaring problems. AJ Styles is a breath of fresh air, but it's hard not to be skeptical of how they will handle him going forward.
On the bright side: there's always NXT.

About the same, except no CM Punk to carry the show on his shoulders so why bother watching?

WWE has definitely gotten better over the last five years!
Finn Balor, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn all getting the title. Adrian Neville also deserves a shout. The Vaudevillains, Lucha Dragons, Enzo & Cass, American Alpha and Dash & Dawson made tag team wrestling cool again (plus we got the return of the Dudley Boyz). Let's not forget the debuts of Hideo Itami, Austin Aries and AJ Styles and the appearances of guys like Rhyno, Brian Kendrick and James Storm. Tyler Breeze successfully brought back the gimmick and made it fun. Women's wrestling is now worth watching because of the hard work of the women in the ring and the guys at the PC. The titles all mean something now because of how they've been handled. Three top stars to carry WWE into the next decade have been made in Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns. Brock Lesnar is the new phenom of WWE. John Cena has been successfully absent from the WWE title picture since 2013. The TakeOver shows have been the best PPVs WWE has done in fifteen years. CM Punk's finally stopped whining. Absolutely everything about New Day is enough to make up for half the crapwe've seen from WWE in recent times.
WWE is definitely better than it's been since about 2007. Raw and SmackDown have been crap, and the PPVs have been hit or miss, but NXT is the only thing anyone cares about, and that's doing so well.

Absolutely. Tag Teams have returned, gimmicks are back, we now have stables and every star has their own trademark image. We also have NXT which is better than the main show itself and Takeovers are best PPV's in over a decade.
2010 and 2011 were the worst ever years of WWE. The only good parts of 2011 was the Summer of Punk and masked Kane's return. Also the entire roster looked the same. They have no gimmicks and were short haired generic beach boys in trunks. Everyone was like clones and it just made the product uninteresting.

2nd half of 2011 was amazing and all of 2012 was great? What are you talking about. 2015 was garbage compared to those two years

Yeah, I suppose on a larger scale, but there's nothing as interesting as the Summer of Punk. Not enough has changed to make it substantially better though

To be honest, I think it's better if you take a couple of months break from it here and there. If you don't, it's completely repetitive.

2011 was dull until CM Punk got the huge push in the Summer. Once that happened, 2012 and 2013 were both pretty decent as well, but towards 2014 I found the product to get kind of dull again and they haven't really got out of that hole yet IMO.

The roster has improved tremendously besides losing Punk, the talent they've added is incredible. The writing has somehow gotten worse though, and that drags it all down.

I don't know...Raw was 2 hours in 2011 still yet and that helped me enjoy the product more. MINTB 2011 was a pretty awesome show and no 2015 PPV other than Mania beat it IMO, and there were some storylines going on that held my interest through that year. I feel 2015 was a worse year for WWE than 2011 was for me as a fan. I think the whole structure of WWE is getting worse and worse because everything seems very lazy on Raw right now.
Like someone said above, at least we have NXT to watch now. If it were not for NXT and the Network I would probably not watch any of the current product today.

Well.....yes and no.
As far as the WRESTLING goes, yes, the WWE has gotten MUCH better. The talent that WWE has inside the ring, in both WWE and NXT, is as high quality as it's EVER been.
However, storyline-wise, and the fact that WWE tried so hard to fight the fans on Daniel Bryan, and now that they are forcing so hard with Roman Reigns.....the WWE Title storylines are as bad as they've ever been.
WWE needs to be more like NJPW and focus more on showcasing the matches, and less on 20 minute promos, they really are a bore.

as others have said, the wrestling has improved but the quality of the product? nah. it's still bland garbage. i literally can't even make myself sit through a raw.

Well, considering that was when it was in its prime for me, (started watching early 2010) I think it was 20 times better then. It was just enjoyable. Truthfully I lost interest when it was Daniel Bryan everything. That was boring for me, plus I wasn't reading dirt sheets when I first started either, that ruins wrestling majorly

2007-2011 remains my least favorite years in wrestling ever, so I think so.

Talent has improved, everything else has not. 2011-most of 2012 was a complete blur to me other than Punk, who was the saving grace of this company at the time. My interest peaked once the Shield debuted and I feel things gradually got better, but got worse again in 2015 with a combination of injuries, abysmal writing, and poor booking. If they actually put effort into putting in a consistently great show week after week, 2016 and beyond could be something special. But so far, it's not looking that way.

I'd say so. The WWE focuses more on the in ring product considerable more now. The mid card, tag team, & Divas division all have drastically improved. If they would just give us some more compelling backstage segments, I think the show would be damn near perfect.

It's a give and take. In-ring quality began an consistent incline around that time, but it's sort of leveled off at this point. Creativity and storytelling has been on a sharp decline for about a decade now, and it's just getting worse.
