How is this not AJ's fault? I see alot of people saying that the Miz is at fault. How? If the Miz had kicked Styles hard enough to mess up his teeth, would you guys say the Miz was at fault? Yes. Miz is always wrong.

I haven't seen a clip but I don't think it's really anyone's fault because accidents are bound to happen. I highly doubt there was any malice behind it. I don't think too many people would be on Miz's case if roles were reversed.

I'm not saying it's The Miz's fault... But this would have never happened against someone that knew what they were doing. The Miz is a competent worker, but not a good wrestler. Jericho must suck then according to you because his match with AJ wasn't nearly as good.

(I used this earlier to someone but it got deleted so I can use it now with no harm done) But seriously, it happened, and his career isn't over, and it's fixable, I don't feel as if it's fair to deem someone a bad wrestler in a small occurrence such as this.

Jericho must suck then according to you because his match with AJ wasn't nearly as good. According to me? I didn't say anything about the match itself.. All I know is that Jericho didn't get hurt. Explain to me what that distinction is? The important distinction is: If someone he doesn't like injures someone, they're an unsafe worker. If someone he likes injures someone, it's the other guy's fault. That's not true at all.. I'm not quite sure what gave you that impression either. You've never seen me on here mark out for AJ Styles, and you've never seen me on here dog The Miz. So you're clearly making an assumption that is wrong. But for the record, the distinction is that The Miz can indeed work a basic match. Nothing fancy and nothing out of the ordinary.. He plays it very safe and doesn't work outside his comfort zone. And when someone does something to him outside of this comfort zone, it gets botched and he ends up with a boo boo. It's happened multiple times. I'm not a fan of Kofi Kingston.. But remember when Kofi Kingston injured The Miz with a kick a while back? I guess it's purely coincidental that The Miz gets injured with kicks to the face.. The Miz has potential, but The Miz isn't growing as a wrestler.. And The Miz isn't very ring aware. I'm not saying it's The Miz's fault... But this would have never happened against someone that knew what they were doing. The Miz is a competent worker, but not a good wrestler. I don't think The Miz is a bad wrestler, I just don't think The Miz is a good wrestler.. He's just a wrestler. His style isn't distinct and his skill doesn't stand out. The Miz exists.

His charisma is a real saving grace for his career, I'm just glad if you put a Styles, Ziggler, Jericho, etc. with him that it won't be a boring-no story match, and I can watch and enjoy.

And when someone does something to him outside of this comfort zone, it gets botched and he ends up with a boo boo. It's happened multiple times. So Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler's multiple concussions are because they don't know what they're doing, right?

So Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler's multiple concussions are because they don't know what they're doing, right? I wasn't talking about them. Were we talking about them? Were we talking about concussions? No we weren't. But to answer your question, not knowing what you're doing and being wreckless are different. Dolph Ziggler for example knows what he is doing, yet Dolph Ziggler is wreckless in selling.. And I'm pretty sure one of his concussions came from Ryback.. Someone who has injured multiple people, multiple times. Daniel Bryan also is someone that knows exactly what he was doing, but anyone that has watched his aggressive style of wrestling can see that he becomes wreckless sometimes.. Just look at those dropkicks in the corner, or the GIANT back bump he takes off the top during his dropkick. Doesn't mean they don't know what they're doing.. Sometimes accidents happen, absolutely. But these two mean have never been kicked in the face multiple times by a few different people..

You don't see Daniel Bryan doing silly rubbish like this: I hope this actually factors in AJ's favour. He's been called out by Miz for being a nobody and then smashed his teeth in. Hopefully it legitimises Styles.

Like Sting - Seth didn't hurt Sting, Sting didn't tuck his chin and he got himself injured. He said that on a podcast recently. He's been wrestling for 30 plus years. Accidents can happen

Since everyone's going in depth, someone should probably point out it was a reverse-back hand to the jaw that knocked out Miz's teeth, not a kick.
I watched SmackDown last night, and the swinging reverse back hand to the face hits Miz stiff on that right side of his mouth, and he turns and very quickly spits the teeth out. You see them hitting the floor on the mid-bottom-right of the screen as AJ completes the combo. It's pretty nasty but Miz does a good job masking it.
Accidents happen. No harm done, they'll be repaired by the time RAW airs Monday unless they do a story from it.
(EDIT: it's actually pretty sad to see how many people who blatently haven't even seen the incident are using it to take shots at The Miz. It clearly wasn't his fault in the slightest, people just dare not criticise AJ, and it's painfully obvious everybody arguing about this are all the same in that regard. It was the best match Miz has had in years, and he played his part. If you're gunna aimlessly take shots at a wrestler you don't like at least take the time to watch what it is you're holding against them, dammit.)

Apart from that one RAW where he looked goofy as hell and swollen up the night after.

WWE will probably try to steer clear of more toothless aggression

Either it wasn't always in a talents contract, or Mick Foley liked the toothless look.
