Looks like an awesome Elite packaged as a fancy DM. The other WCW world title would've been an excellent edition to this, but I'm not sure if they even have the rights to that one. Nevertheless, it's a vibrant figure that should look pretty damn cool on the shelf. Hopefully that's enough to sell it at the premium pricepoint.

I can't believe I'll be able to display a classic Sting next to a Savage, Hogan, Flair, Hart, Austin, HBK,'Taker etc all from the same line.

I just want to start out by saying that I AM getting this figure regardless. That being said I just hope that when I do get it that it actually looks like Sting lol and the reason I'm saying that is... This is how Sting's facial expression looks like...  And this is Sting's Figure face-sculpt facial expression...  Kind of off So I do hope there are better pictures and that it looks better in person lol. But like I said, regardless I'll be getting 2 of this Sting. And Bill please don't take this as disrespect, it's just constructive criticism. I am a fan of your view and your work. |

I would have much rather preferred the cloth with all these great colors and designs, and would care less about the tassel width or shoulder pads/designs... Either way... This will look great signed on my shelf with red, white or blue paint pen  |

And then I will pick up 3 locally and hopefully the second run will have the correct boots (remembers HTM jumpsuit/belt dibacle) and one of those will be my MIB figure. This will look great signed on my shelf with red, white or blue paint pen That would have killed me if after 26 years of wanting this version of Sting they gave us a jacket without the shoulder tassils and it had huge streamers on his sleeves. I loved that entrance jacket. But I agree it will look fantastic signed in your cabinet. |

Even with some flaws, it's still a great figure. I know you guys will buy it anyway LOL. I'll buy two. One for display and one loose. Need to request Ralphs for a cloth jacket like the jakks one.

Hey rsctrevor, when this figure goes up for preorder, what are the chances you could possibly indicate which boot mold is going to be sent? I plan to hold off for the 2nd wave, I just want to be sure when I do order form you guys, that I am getting the version I want. |

Though I did say I was getting all Sting's so I guess I'll get both the regular and the corrected. I was thinking about getting three. One for MOC, one for displayed loose with jacket on, and another loose one to display with Flair in the Scorpion Death Lock. |

The scan is fine. I bet it's like elite 39 when you paint it flesh tone it looks like Sting. Y'all don't trip
We can judge accessories based of whether we want cloth good or plastic as well as point out part errors such as boots. But judging scans based off pictures should teach a lesson

Everyone saw images of this figure at Comic Con last year, it looks basically exactly the same to me. Never did it indicate it would have a cloth jacket so I don't know where the sudden disappointment is coming from.

OMG, that first thread of hair is out of place, and his eye is tilted, and he has a booger on his nose, his neck is to thin, his jacket is not the correct color of red or blue, his feet are to big, his ass is to wide, we will have to have a running change !!!!my goodness!!!!! What in the blue hell is all the b$#ching about!!!!! This is exactly what I was saying before!!! Pretty S on we are not gonna get any pictures, spoilers, heads up or nothing if we don't watch our complaints I for one am going to buy several of this Sting, layce or no layce boots,plastic or fabric , you could just stick his body in a box that I have to assemble and I'll still buy it ....

Jakks has a good alternative and if all else fails, Ralph's never steered me wrong. |

These are images of a pre-production sample. Most of our official images are from such samples, which are the last ones I review before they are finalized.Sometimes I am able to catch late errors before production, as with the Renee Young figure. The boots are being changed to be more accurate. The 1st run will be the laced boots. The rest of the run will be corrected boots. Jacket being molded was an aesthetic decision based on the facts 1) Sting's arm streamers were much thinner and more numerous than Macho Man's. If I used a SG jacket he would have streamers the same size as Macho Man's, which I did not want (they have to be a certain size to avoid choking hazards, no way around it). 2) I would also have lost the epaulets on the shoulders. If I would have produced a SG jacket with wide arm streamers and no shoulder epaulets I would have heard the feedback as well I am sure. While Im glad the boots are being changed, and will wait for the 2nd run now..I have to ask. I know you're not a fan of most of the board here but seeing as you do have access to a large chunk of collectors...Instead of being in fear of feedback AFTER a figure is made, why dont you ask collectors BEFORE the figure is made? You have a great resource with this website. If you come and say "Hey we can do it this way but you wont have this, or we can do it this way and you wont have this...which do you prefer?" you can still get feedback from a majority. And Im willing to venture when it comes to Flashbacks, unlike the current product, collectors are majority and not just a random kid on the street. It's a business tactic. MDT known we are the hardcore collectors. Completist will get one of each and everyone who wants one, will get it the first chance they get. Everyone here can say what they want, but the boots, the rubber shirt, and the face scan will not stop anyone from getting it. The only people that pass up DMs are the people who were not going to buy them anyways. MDT doesn't need your feedback, you NEED their figures (just like I do lol). "In this business, you can make money or you can make friends." All an all, I don't know what the fuss is about with the boots. It's an original figure in terms of scans. If you hate the face, I'm sure a different one will show up in basics line up eventually. As for the jacket, I like the new material they are using. I got no problems with the figure or price, I'll pick at least one up and I don't really care for it. |
