I notice that in recent years, the NXT roster has been pretty much the focus of the WWE roster cuts as the WWE doesn't release main roster talents unless the talent either requested the release or if the talent did a very bad thing within the company. The only time the WWE did do a mass main roster cut back in 2014 was due to losses stemming from the WWE Network as well as the WWE's lackluster TV deal.

I'm disappointed Sylvester LeFort got released since he was extremely underused and underrated. The others i could careless.

I was a fan of all three, but particularly Marcus Louis. We didn't see much of him, but I feel like he had potential to be one of those guys that could make anything he was given work.

I'm absolutely dissapointed. I liked Bull since I started watching NXT a year ago. Whether generic heel or Bull Fit, I loved the fact that WWE were pushing a fat guy (a look very reminiscent of days gone by) which I'm a fan of. I wish him luck with whatever he ends up doing.

Not surprised by this, NXT roster is absolutely going to be stacked. Its interesting that all of the recent releases by NXT have been handled excellently by the talent and in a very classy manner. Absolutely this. While I wasn't a fan of any of the three, I wish them all well wherever they end up.

Deleted half the thread thanks to one person.
Maybe now someone can tell me what I'm allowed to be offended by elsewhere.

Much better.
I think I was the only NXT "Threadhead" that fully supported heel Bull. Had that true "last of a dying breed" feel to him.
Instead, they fed him to Corbin, turned him face, gave him Doink's finisher and made him a joke.

Why no? Japan worked wonders for Bernard and Elgin. Big guys do well in NJPW.

Though Davey was in a great match with Tanahashi in 2014 during the G1. I'm not a 100% sure to be honest.

This was bound to happen when the WWE started raiding the indies. NXT isnt big enough to have all those people there, especially when they have the Performance Center to maintain and there are no plans to send guys to the main roster.

Still waiting on Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Elias Samson, Nia Jax, Sawyer Fulton and Tye Dillinger.
As well as most of the Performance Center trainees. Time to make room for Gargano, Ciampa, Swamm, Busick, Athena, etc.

Daaamn. Bull was great. Also hoping that LeFort and Louis would reunite and bring in Billie Kay as the third Legionnaire.
