I'm not gonna say he could've been something huge, but he deserved better than what was given to him. There always seems to be the big guy that everyone beats to gain some credibility.
Edit - I've seen a few people say something about Sylvestor Lefort and Marcus Louis leaving as well? I haven't seen an official report on it, but Lefort put a picture in Twitter of the three, and changed his name on Twitter to what I assume is his real name.
Edit 2 - It appears that Sylvestor Lefort has also left the company, I still haven't seen an official report on him or Marcus Louis. This is the picture of the three.

Elegant response to his release. That's the way you should do it. That being said, I'm not going to miss him at all.

He was cool but I couldn't see him being taken serious. Best of luck to him.

This should be the blueprint for talent being released in the future. Super classy. Best of luck to Bull. Seemed like a cool guy, sucks that it didn't work out.

I think when Bull was signed he was going to be NXT's answer to Kevin Steen. Once they signed the real Owens I think the window was closing on Bull. I had pushed for WWE to make him a more likable guy because his real life personality was far better than the tough guy gimmick he was playing. But Bull-Fit was not the answer IMO. Hope he can move on and find something that works. If so, I'm sure we see him again.
I never saw much in Lefort & Louis. Especially after they split. With the great talent NXT is currently bringing in, I don't think they will be missed much by the fans.

Damn, I really liked Bull. I thought his current gimmick was hilarious, and I also thought The Legionnaires had potential in mid-2014 when they debuted. Very classy of them, too. Most others would make a sneak diss at the company, so it's nice to see them leave on good terms. Take care Bull. I'll always remember that time you high-fived me on your way to the back in London.

Damn it. Lefort was absolutely AWESOME as a manger for anyone who went to the late FCW/Early NXT shows. He would have been a great heel manager imo but he hasn't been used in a very long time. So it's really no big surprise. Just disappointing they could never utilize that talent.
I still love the entire Hair vs Hair angle they did with Enzo and Lefort. That was good stuff.
Maybe some house cleaning going on since WWE should have a new set of NXT talent coming in around March.

Not surprised by this, NXT roster is absolutely going to be stacked. Its interesting that all of the recent releases by NXT have been handled excellently by the talent and in a very classy manner.

I hope Marcus is still around. After he had that psychotic break down gimmick I thought he would have been perfect for the Wyatt Family. A much better choice over Braun.

Nothing was really lost except that I wish Lefort stuck around as a manager. I liked him that role and wanted to see what he could do with Billie Kay.

Ill miss bull.... I think he could have filled the role of the next santino.
lefort, meh... didn't like or hate him.
Louis, I got a kick out of the breakdown gimmick, but the best thing he had done was the "accidentally" sexual promo he cut in the promo class... it leaked on the net a few years back but got pulled. it was hilarious if you can find it.

This is one of the drawbacks of NXT becoming an indie all star show. They aren't actually going to be developmental anymore, they are basically becoming their own brand. So I'm not sure where they plan to actually develop their own home grown talent anymore. That being said, I have no complaints. It makes for more entertaining shows for me. Talent will have to get over in the indies and then get to NXT

Add two more. www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016/0205/607358/another-two-nxt-talents-gone/According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, two more NXT names have been released. Magno (Oscar Vasquez) and Peter Howard were let go, bringing the total number of NXT cuts today to five. Magno made an appearance on TNA TV in 2013 as a part of their Gut Check Challenge, taking on current NXT coach Adam Pearce. He'd performed under the name of "Oscar" on a few NXT live events over the past few months. Howard, a UK-born wrestler, participated in a live event battle royal for NXT last fall, but hadn't made it to TV. As reported earlier today, Bull Dempsey, Marcus Louis and Sylvester LeFort were all released as well.
