Not sure if others have seen, or are interested, but Hasbro announced today they are doing movies and reviving an assortment of older properties, as well as giving us new toys, apparently, and more GI Joe. This is from Toyark: I know many of you collect or have collected MASK. I had many as a kid. Visionaries is in my top 5 favorite toy lines of all time. I loved the cartoon, I absolutely loved the toys, and I'm pretty speechless that this is happening. This isn't something I ever expected. I mean the show was only 13 episodes and we got one real wave of figures. I can't wait to see this stuff this weekend and hear what they have planned. I'll update the thread once we start seeing any photos of this stuff, but this is kind of crazy news imo, but definitely great.

I'm all for a MASK revival. Loved those things. I always sort of expected that to occurr about 7 years ago when Matt Trakker appeared in the GI Joe 25th line. As for Joe itself, they need to overhaul that line and actually make the characters available AT RETAIL or at least for a reasonable price if they're gonna be online only. The FSS and Joecon exclusives being so damn expensive/impossible nearly killed all my ,34 year, interest in the line. Matter of fact, i stopped buying modern stuff and went back to buying back all the vintage/o ring stuff from my childhood. And I've always wanted ROM figures since the 80s. I hope they're in scale with Marvel Legends.

I think JokerFC will be happy about Mask. But I am excited about the Micronauts...I used to love those figures. My favorites were the Space Glider and Blue Time Traveler. The Pharoid with time chamber was pretty cool also.

The Pharoid with time chamber was pretty cool also. I had some micronauts as a child. I missed the boat on most of it since i was born in 78. But i did get some at Children's Palace back in the days when they had the Mego stuff on clerance for about .98 cents. I don't remember the names of most of them, but i DO remember having the Pharoid time chamber set. I'm interested in seeing a modern day take on these. They were ahead of their time back then.

MASK and Visionaries would be awesome. I collected both as a kid.

I agree with CM, I used to love my mask toys and the cartoon, and Vis' figures actually started a great friendship with the kid next door. We both had decent sized back gardens, with loads of tress, ponds, random green areas and his visionaries would sometimes end up on safari on our side of the fence.
I'd love it if they made them to scale with the originals for each line, rather than a new generic scale. I'll have to find out more about the GI Joe side of things, it's a bigger line than the others, especially if you factor in the different groups (cobra/renegades/battle/tiger) etc.
