I was in TRU on Thursday and the newest ones they had were the Jyn Erso set. They also had a boatload of the hovertank pilots. I think they're exclusive to TRU but they didn't have the exclusive sticker on them like past ones have. |

£5.99 Black Series figures are back at Home Bargains. Picked up a Snowtrooper and a second Kylo Ren (masked). Thinking of opening it to put on display.

They never have anything in, come WWE or Star Wars. Still hoping Darth Revan gets a mass retail release as stores here have slowed right down on Black Series since before Christmas. In FP the Darth Revan set didn't stick around long and I only had chance to get Leia and Obi Wan due to it selling out so quickly |

The only 40th ones I saw in TRU today were Luke, Leia and Obi-Wan. Plenty of each but no sign of or space for the rest.
If anyone collects the smaller scale Black Series figures, Asda had them in. Pretty annoying to see Lando in a line that I don't collect and have to wait for his proper Black Series release.

I'm not sure whether to go for them... are they just rereleases of the 6" Black figures in new packaging? They do look nice, but I already have the figures (and loads of vintage-style 3 3/4" figures!).
And that Star Wars logo really should be in the middle of the card, rather than off to the side...

The charges are all through the roof now, just because R2 was already hard to get and is short packed. Why do they do it.
Short pack Han the warmer, or the recently released 3.

have smyths got any new black series in ...nope. Not counting the 40th Anniversary figures, the last wave I've seen in Smyths is wave 7 (Jyn Erso, Kylo Unmasked etc.). The last wave in TRU was wave 8 (Krennic, Scarif Stormtrooper, C-3PO). So we're still waiting for wave 9 (Darth Revan etc.) and wave 10 (Chirrut and Baze)... |

TRU has the new 6"/40th Anniversary Darth Vader set in for £44.99. At that price, they can keep it. I thought it was pretty good, considering it's £59.99 at Forbidden Planet and about £50 on eBay. The cheapest I've seen it anywhere is Amazon (around £43)... but for a couple of quid extra, I'd rather go through a few and pick my own (...I'm quite fussy when it comes to the boxes!). |
