Hi all,
Sorry, I couldn't see a general questions thread, hence making this.
I'm looking to get hold of an array of action figure weapons, guns, knives etc, preferably real looking toys (GI Joe/army esque). They need to be the correct size/scale to use with Jakks RA style figures. I'm not really sure where to start looking, toy lines, the actual scale such as 1:6 or 1:12 etc.
Can anyone help and point me in the right direction?
Thanks very much

The scale you want would be around 1:12 (6 inches). Marvel Legends and Marvel Select have weapons around that scale. There are usually lots with weapons on Ebay. You can also try third party sites such as: castingcave.ecrater.com

I know I got some from some of the old McFarlane Terminator figures to use with my ML Punisher (which I've since sold along with the weapons). Also I think some of the old Matrix figures, they were probably by McFarlane too.

I'm sure there's a custom company that makes weapons in that scale

For Jakks scaled figures I think ML weapons would be to small. I think I would go with the old LJN SWAT and Rookies figure M-16's and pistols.

Thanks all very much for the replies. I think I have to come to terms with the fact that they aren't going to be very cheap for what I want them for. I'll keep an eye on everything you have all suggested. Thanks again.

Also I think some of the old Matrix figures, they were probably by McFarlane too. The Rise of the Machines T-850 with the coffin is/was a big seller for this very reason. Unfortunately, all the listings I've seen for the particular figure are loose with nothing loose inside of the coffin.
