I noticed some of the items I got from Ralph's are leaving stains on my figures. Is there a way to prevent this?

Give the clothes a soak in some hot water to remove the excess dye. Adding a little white vinegar should help too but that isn't necessary.

Now, I have a question. Will this method cause the color to bleed onto lighter colors on the clothing? I have a DM Flair robe I need to do this to, but Ive been worried about the white collar getting ruined.

I've hand washed every piece of figure clothing with warm water and soap. Haven't had any issues with staining.

Any soft goods I get (minus pleather) I put in a delicates/socks bag and throw it in the wash with our colored towels.

I think it would, but if you are worried maybe just soak them in a cup of warm for a few hours it should still remove the excess dye. I did that with my HOF Santana shirt when I couldn't find our delicates bag.

I did wash that in the machine. I had come out fine.

Ok I put them in a sock and washed them on the gently cycle, not they are drying on a towel. This is all the necessary steps to prevent staining?

It should be if you washed out the excess dye. Instead of using a sock I would suggest buying a small mesh socks bag or delicate bag. This way the water and soap have an easier time washing them.
