I'm really surprised how much I enjoyed Sabre/Dar. I wasn't expecting much from that (especially Dar) and it surpassed my expectations quite a bit.
TJP/Swann was FANTASTIC. I loved that match. The only gripe I have is that they ran a story that was way to similar to TJP/Gargano.
I'm surprised at just how over Swann is as well. He's great but there was no need for the bullcrapchants at the end. TJP has been great this whole tournament. Show the guy some damn respect.
I went into this tournament as a very slight TJP fan but he's won me over 100% throughout the whole thing. Dude should honestly win the whole thing. But sadly he's going up against the unstoppable train known as Kota Ibushi next week.
I wish it wasn't so painfully obvious that we're getting Sabre/Ibushi in the finals but we all expected that anyway.
If they put TJP over next week I would be ecstatic. I do find it strange that he went over two guys that were already signed to the WWE. Maybe they will shock me and go with him.
TJP/Sabre would be amazing in the finals.

I just heard on the latest episode that raw will be getting the cruiser weights September 19. You think that it's all of them from the tournament?

Just got round to watching this show.
Sabre Jr vs Dar was easily match of the night and honestly one of my favourite matches of the tournament. Dar was extremely impressive, which some will overlook because his 1st two matches weren't great. But no one mentions that he had god awful opponents to work with.
TJP vs Swann was good but didn't reach the heights of the previous match for me. Bit too much unnecessary flipping early on. Still a good match but I expected more.

I am overall please with this tournament. But the spots and moves and big time risks were so repetitive. And the wrestling was all about the submissions. I mean TJ Perkins ended two of his matches with a knee bar. Therer could have been a little more variety. Don't get me wrong. I feel like that picked 32 of the best cruiser weights but they could have shown off their skills a little better. But I get it that wwe won't let them do the crazy moves like the indies do.

Anyone who says Noam Dar is overhyped is damn liar, because he was barely hyped. About 9 people on this forum said he alright, I might've been the only one that was excited about him in the tournament.

People overlook the fact that he had to face Sihra and Lun in his first 2 matches. Both awful. Hardly anyone would get a decent match out of them. |

TJP hell yeah! I did not expect that. But am so glad he got through.
Can't wait till next week. Gonna be sad to see it finish but all three matches are gonna rock.
