At first I wasn't so crazy about this match but now I think it could be very good and I'm way more excited for this rather than the main event. I hope that one night on Raw Vince is in the ring with Undertaker, Shane comes out and says he cannot be medically cleared to wrestle but he has a replacement.......Demon Balor comes out face to face with Undertaker, that would be a hell of a debut match on the main roster. Samoa Joe could also be his replacement and that would be awesome.

I agree this is a vehicle for something else. Maybe it's to setup Cena vs Taker, which would be good. The Cell gimmick obviously creates a scenario in which Shane can bring in a team of people to help him beat Taker, assuming he actually wrestles the match.
We need a new Authority figure on Raw. So Shane needs to win. I'll reserve my excitement level until I have a more clear idea of what exactly will be the scenario at Mania. Cena vs Taker or the introduction of a new babyface faction to oppose the Authority would both be intriguing to me.
If Shane does wrestle, it's going to be a street fight environment. Shane has been excellent in those type of matches in the past. So I can't image it's not going to be compelling once the match is underway.

This is either a stall to get Cena healthy or a vehicle to bring in Bullett Club in my opinion Would kinda love that a little if the bullet club came out of that. Also I do want to see Shane hit one of his Highspots off the HIAC at mania.

I laughed. This was the announcement that the Reddit user said was coming down the pike? That user must be a Carter because it's nothing anyone was clamoring for.
Now, if he was talking about the beatdown of Roman Reigns, that's only going to make Christmas come early for me if Roman is "injured" and can't compete at Wrestlemania.

There's a million ways to book this and I love it.

I like it for several reasons. First... Shane introduces his version of the Bullet Club and they help him defeat Taker? Second... It's something new that no one could have predicted. Had anyone guessed this a week ago they would have been laughed out of the building. I miss the days when we would get something so out of left field that it would smack us in the face cause no one sees it coming.

This is gonna be awful, bret hart v McMahon awful..
I don't understand why they don't just give Goldberg a boat load of money to come back.

If this isn't a platform for Taker to align with Shane and have Taker face one of Vince's other picks then I am just dumbfounded. This makes no sense and I am having trouble getting remotely excited for it.

100% cool to see Shane come back. Although when his music hot, I was initially disappointed.
I wanted him to announce WCW as a brand coming back as a show on the network. There is enough hindsight to recycle the things that DID work there and start something cool.
This match though?? A fifty year old way past his prime vs. a 46 year old who never had one. I am praying that this is either a stall tactic for Shane's legal team to find some loophole in so he can get a sub or that there is some interference that sets up a major angle coming out of it.

if taker loses that will just be so stupid. if shane does actually wrestle in this match, we're in for some good spots from him (hopefully). if he does pick a sub, hopefully its someone like the rock or sting but who knows, it could turn into shane choosing kane if they choose the sub route
taker must be like jesus, another hell in a cell, im not getting any younger

He'll bring in bullet club to help him win and it will be like 2002 NWO but hopefully good.

I don't know if there will be a twist in the next few weeks so that Shane in storyline can't wrestle because of something, and has someone replace him and still keep the stip that if Shane or Shane's guy wins ,Shane gets control of RAW/WWE. All I know is, it's got my attention to see what happens next, and I can't wait to be there live at Mania to see it.

I love it only for the fact that is was surprising and interesting. Which is honestly all I ask for. In terms of the actual match I have no idea how they are going to pull it off and some of the booking last night made no sense at all.
So Shane comes out, reveals some deal he made with his dad. He clearly has his dad on his heels and clearly has all of the leverage in the situation because of some sort of lock box that Vince brought up. He demands control of RAW, and is in every position to do so, but instead of saying yes Vince says I will give it to you on one condition, you fight a match whenever I want against whoever I choose....WHY THE HELL WOULD SHANE AGREE TO THAT!?!?!?!?!?! He had all of the leverage in the situation and then for no reason let his dad basically put him in a horrible position and then agrees to it. The booking didn't make any sense, but at least it adds something a little more interesting to Wrestlemania

I'm existed for the match regardless of what it ends up being. It does seem like a convenient way to introduce cena on Shane's behalf as I think Shane left it sufficiently vague enough about his involvement in that segment. If Cena ain't ready to go, then Shane CS taker will be good I'm sure. Interesting to see how taker responds. Or maybe Kane needs to be in Shane's place setting up the final brother vs brother in the feud of father vs son.

Anybody still leeching on to the possibility of this becoming Undertaker vs John Cena needs to let go. This wouldn't have been made a Hell in a Cell had it not been set in stone, and they could much easily of just had this Award directly set up Taker vs Cena rather than getting Shane involved and making it all a big mess.
Still, I'm shocked my this decision, iit's literally like one of those random storylines you'd get on Career Mode on the PlayStation game back in the day, and I can't say that I'm not gutted I no longer have my tickets. While it is one painfully obvious Hail Mary, it's definitely going to be much more entertaining that a standard Undertaker vs Kevin Owens or Chris Jericho match would have been. At 50 years old we aren't going to get 5 star classics anymore from Taker, and with Shane's history it allows room for pure entertainment. The Cell brings intrigue, who will interfere, will Shane take a silly bump off of the roof, and who will actually win this? Will Sting play a part?
I definitely have some gripes with it though, as Shane is essentially the face in this equation. How can the Texas crowd not want to be behind Undertaker when his career is realistically at risk if he loses, yet we are supposed to be backing Shane since the future of the company is in his hands. Will Taker make some sort of deal with the devil? The match on paper has so much potential but they have absolutely booked themselves into a corner with it. I'm incredibly intrigued to see how Undertaker fits into this puzzle. I'll be absolutely baffled if they have Undertaker lose to Shane McMahon though, especially through some screwy finish. Ideally Undertaker's next loss should result theoretically as the end of his Career. Going out 22-2 to Shane McMahon in a Match that wasn't even thought upon until 6 weeks prior to Wrestlemania would be a terrible way to go.

What if Taker ends up siding with Shane and Vince needs to find someone new to find on his behalf, making the match Taker vs Vince's guy.
