Brand segregation is something I've been in favor of every since it was abolished. This will only add value to current stars, and will help enable creating new ones.

Stupid.
If they go through with it, I hope they have the sense to only have one World Champion who appears on both shows.

I don't want to see the brand split return. Especially not bringing back the World Title. The WWE Champion should be champion of WWE, not just half of it.
Also, ending the brand split isn't the reason why guys aren't being used to their full potential. The reason guys aren't being used to their full potential is because WWE has decided that you're either a "top guy" or nothing. WWE made too many top guys during the original Brand Extension, and when they ended it and had everyone on both shows, they felt the need to force all of those top guys all over both shows, leaving very little room for a midcard to develop. WWE doesn't need a brand split. They just need to realize two things...
1.) Every top guy doesn't need to be on every show. 2.) Not everyone gets to be a world champion. But on the other side of that coin, just because a wrestler isn't top guy material doesn't mean that they're completely useless and should be demoted to total jobberdom.

It worked in 2002 because of all the top talent they had. Today they barely have 2 legit main eventers, let alone enough guys to fill 2 rosters. Though if it's gets Ambrose out from under Reigns I'm all for it. This is how they can develop new top talent

In My Opinion there are soooooo many talents now and a brand split can work in this era. RAW and SD need to have a draft again and have seperate world champions that work full time not like when The Rock or Brock Lesnar were the champions.OH and go back to two hour programming!!!

I remember a time where the majority of people hated the brand split and wanted a unified brand. Interesting

I'm all for it! That way if Raw continues to suck at least Smackdown (a 2 hour show) will be there with it's own material and not just Raw 2.0.

I never wanted the brands to merge in the first place. The brand split is breast for business.

Other than TV the roster has always been split.
Dating back to the days of Hogan there has been two travel rosters. One Roster was headlined by Hogan and his crew the other was generally headlined by either the Tag Team or IC Champs. If you look at house show results you can see that right now one group is headlined by Reigns and the other has been headlined by Owens for the most part.
Right now they also have NXT touring so that is pretty much three groups on the road. On TV the brand extension doesn't work, even though Smackdown for the last year or so was always headlined by Rollins/Reigns in some capacity.
If they do bring the brand split back I say make the US Title the Main Belt on Raw, the IC the Main belt on Smackdown and float the WWE Championship back and forth, which was suppose to be the initial plan all along when they first split the brands back in the day. Also make it WCW v WWE just to give the shows a different feel.

While the Raw vs. WWE thing is very intriguing, that is a nothing story. They just took the one tidbit about the 5/23 Raw and completely speculated. If not, why wasn't this reported before?

This could work out really well. Especially if it's raw vs smackdown vs NXT will the company having 3 uniquely functioning divisions!

I loved the brand split in 2002. You know? When they had like 8 top guys and there wasn't enough room for all of them on 1 show.
Now? LOL. They have like 2 top guys and a whole slough of mid card guys.

If Neville, Rusev, Acension, Kalisto, Tyler Breeze, and Kevin Owens can get some consistent singles stories, then that'd be sweet.

So it seems like half the people are for it and half are against it. We're living in a 50-50 world, where nobody can agree on anything.

I wasn't a fan of the brand split but I do think there are a LOT of REALLY GOOD talents in WWE right now to sustain two brands.
