Is any of his elite figures based off his wcw days or close to it? I need to add a Bret to my collection. If there isn't what elites would you recommend? Thanks guys.

Not yet. It is my biggest ever want. The DM attire was worn on a Nitro a couple of times (with black wrist tape), but wasn't his defining WCW attire and never wore it for big matches or PPV's. Its a shame we have not had a WCW Bret from Jakks and Mattel. as yet, but Bill did seem open to it when asked a year or so ago. Fingers crossed we'll see a WCW Elite Bret Hart in the not to distant future.

The DM attire is close enough to a WCW look for me. I still hope to see elites of the splatter paint and orange trim attires someday.

I want a WCW one so bad also. I would also like a new head scan.

I'm all for New Bret's. I just didn't think there was any difference between his WWF gear and his WCW gear. Looking at the pics, I still can't tell a difference. Save for putting a US Title on him - I don't know how you'd differentiate.

I really wish they had the rights to make WCW belts.

Save for putting a US Title on him - I don't know how you'd differentiate. Colours, shapes and designs all in different orders. we already got elites of the all black attire, all pink attire, and black top/pink pants attire and basics of the pink top/black pants attire. were there other differences in his attire? Huge differences. All the designs were different as each year passed. Here is the examples. I'll put requested attires against attires we've already got. All Black. Bret Hart Royal Rumble 1994 request vs All Black summer 1997 we already have. All Pink. What we have is Royal Rumble 1993. One we would like to see Survivor Series 1995. Black top, Pink Bottom. What we have, WrestleMania 10. WCW Bret Hart. Look how complex these attires are from each other, from 1994 the Splatter attire and the 1996 Survivor Series Attire. As you can see, the colours stayed the same. But the details and designs are all completely different, especially on the reverse of the attires, which is difficult to get photos of.

Imo Bret has gotten the worst treatment for such a popular legend. The DM is old and expensive on ebay, Ringside Bret is also expensive now, and the WM XXX Bret is cool but there are better options that could be made. I still need one too but I'm kinda holding off on the WM 30 one to see what we might get soon.

I'm just glad I got the dm so long ago when I did. It was the first wrestling figure I ever bought (I had some of the really old ones like Jake the Snake and I think a Hulk Hogan)I do think Bret needs more figures but to be honest, his attires are all very similar. He had several styles all black, all pink, pink top black bottom and black top pink bottom. Other than that the variations are in my opinion, probably not enough for Mattel to want to make 10 different Brets. Obviously, we know the differences because we are big fans and collectors who would like certain things,

I dont care about the detail. All i care is.. classic simple stripe attire, "flamey" skull attire and "flamey" skull splatter attire in different pink/black combinations.
My hopes for next elite bret is black pants pink top simple stripe attire and pink pants black top splatter attire.

They need to make his head wider with thinner eyes and a serious face, all his other scans look boyish and skinny-faced and they fail to capture his likeness(except for the jorts TRU figure). The hair should be slicked back. 1994 and 1997 were his best attires ever, Survivor Series 1996 was his most unique look IMO.

After hart Foundation I would probably want a Bret with the white paint splatter on the tights from the pic up above with Luger

The colors in his WCW attire were noticeably different than his WWF stuff. The pink was more of a neon pink. I hope we do get a WCW Bret. I really want one after we get a Hart Foundation elite along with Anvil.

We need more Bret Hart's. Along with Shawn Michaels, they haven't gotten nearly enough love. Well, Shawn is already better due to the zebra tights and DX figure that's coming out soon.

I'm all for more Bret Harts, but a lot of the WCW attires that some of you want are nearly the exact same thing as the WWE attires.

Bret had many subtle and not so subtle differences in his different singlets over the years. But everything he wore in WCW was just like what he wore in WWF.

There are some attires that have big differences like the hot pink or splatter one, but a lot of them have just star that is an inch wider on WCW or whatever.

It just shows the spectrum of just how differently people view things. It also upsets me that people all for a million variations of attires for Savage, Shawn, Taker, HHH and Warrior, but as soon as it comes to Bret people are so blase. To me attires represent years or phases of a Wrestlers career.
I would love to have as many Elite Brets as we have of Randy Savage. I Just hope some peoples apathy towards more Brets doesn't affect peoples chances of getting lots of varied attires in the future :-(
