I ordered 1 wrestling figure. 1. From eBay. The seller lives in America. I paid about 20 pounds for the figure to be shipped. Well what happens next just blew me away.i get a card today from royal mail. Saying my parcel is waiting to be picked up. How much. Here is the best part. 42. Yes. 42 pounds. I could not believe it. Still trying to get my head around it . That's total rip off.talk about scalpers. This company sucks big time. How they justify charging that amount is beyond me. And remember this is for 1 figure. I am fuming.

Wait... Is the £42 for a customs charge, or unpaid postage charges?

Not too sure. It said 42.total.but it also says 8 handling fee Ah, that sounds like a customs charge If someone sends something from overseas but doesn't pay the customs charge in advance then the item will be subject to first a handling fee (which I believe is £8 flat rate), plus a customs charge (which is a certain % of your item) That said, £34 sounds a bit heavy for one figure? Unless the sender declared the value as being significantly more than what he sold it for

Ah, that explains it then, I think customs is 15/20% of the item's value

ing hell, I'd NEVER pay triple figures for a figure. Ever! Hell I refuse to pay anything much higher than the typical retail price for a figure.

If your spending £200 on one figure, i'm sure £40 customs charge won't effect you. You must have some money pot:-):-):-)

Fee sounds about right. Just so you know, to declare a low value on a customs from is illegal, I would never do it, and would never expect or ask anyone else to
