Let's set the time table as right after the royal rumble won by Studd. He & Bundy get back together but withing a few months turn heel & set up the rare heel vs heel angle, where Studd/Bundy take on the Twin Towers! Who you got & why?

Which one still had Heenan as their managed? I see Bundy needing Bobby more than Studd to benifit. So I would say while it was heel vs heel the fans would get behind Studd more and he would be the one that won the fued.

Sorry, was thinking tag team, Bundy/Studd versus Twin Towers, Heenan versus Slick!

Just going by the timeframe here of 89, my knee jerk reaction would be to say the Towers go over. Obviously Vince had big plans for them earlier against Hogan and Savage. My guess is he would probably want Studd and Bundy to give the Towers the rub and continue the build for them. Off topic......i REALLY wish that Heenan set would see the light of day in my neck of the woods. Lol

Lol my thought exactly! how about a fantasy triple threat match: studd/bundy vs twin towers vs natural disasters?

eh, I wanna go with studd/bundy but the truth is that studd's career was winding down by that point. their true height of popularity was the Andre feud.
twin towers make the most sense as they could potentially have the most longevity instead of ending them in 91.

If you are building for the future, I'd say the Twin Towers. Establish them from there to build as monsters. Have Studd take the fall, and Bundy turn on him for losing. Bundy eventually destroys Studd, then goes into his Hogan program.
You've got a tag team elevated & the new monster heel for Hogan.

I would think BossMan and Akeem win because Studd won the rumble towards the end of his career so on the way out he should be doing the job.
