No, the ab crunch is essential. This is my dream style of figure: -Unique sculpts for each wrestler (no parts re-use) -More paint detail (Shading on the skin, wash, etc.) -Current elite articulation + Double jointed elbows + Butterfly shoulder joints + Hasbro style ankle rockers -Interchangle heads & hands with each figure -Multiple accessories (cloth t-shirts, cloth entrance jacket, weapons, etc.) If we had figures like this, is be willing to drop like $34.99 per figure. This sounds GREAT BUT they would retail for WAY over $35. I don't think they would be any les than $60, prob higher. if you look at mezcos one :12 line they are between 70-80 bucks and have most or more of these features. id buy them though Mezco 1:12 has completely cloth outfits. That probably ears up a lot of their budget. I'm not asking for cloth outfits, only cloth entrance gear.

they've been doing these for 6 years. Jakks switched it up a lot.
I wonder if Mattel will change the elites ever? I can't imagine they keep making these same figures 10 years from now.
i just want extra heads and hands as accessories. Thats all.

WWE figures in the SH Figuarts style would be very interesting to see but very expensive per figure.

Toybiz TNA figures towards the end. Double elbows, butterfly arm joints. Those would aid tremendously in posing. Also, Marvel Legends style rocker ankles like the ones that are standard on them now. Matrel could rock extra articulation and it still look good, because their tooling hides joints well. Exactly !!!

I think they are two of the worst POA ever. Only finger articulation is worse. As for the ankle rocker/pivot Mattel's Elites stlyed bodies already have them.

I specifically meant the rocker joints like all the Marvel Legends and Star Wars black series figures have had for several years running. The Mattel rocker joint hits a point where it is too limited. The Spiderman legend from last year is a good example of a figure I can do a split with and his feet can still be flat to the ground.

I agree with the OP, a hybrid figure with basic upper body and elite lower body would be something I would like to see but will probably never happen.
THIS is definitely something that needs to happen IMO and the cost would be minimal to throw in an extra hand with each figure. Something I have never understood since I started collecting is why most figures come with one hand that is in a fist?! These are wrestlers NOT boxers, in all my years of watching WWF I rarely recall seeing any guy throwing punches (except for perhaps Piper who was more of a brawler than wrestler). Why can't they include hands that are open which would allow you to do more moves with the figure- for example posing one guy holding another guy over his head is not that easy to do seeing as how the figure has a fisted hand. If the figure came with open palmed hands than it would be easier and look more natural to pull off various moves or holds.

I personally like butterfly shoulders, but I could understand why you don't like them. Why do you hate double elbows? They're far superior to single elbows.

Double elbows never look right. Either the upper arm looks to long. Or the lower arm looks to long. Or the arm is shaped like a "u" when bent.

Elite articulation + whatever extra to pose a proper sleeperhold.

I love the elites now, I just with the feet would bend back more so they can sit up. I want to display my Daniel Bryan wm30 elite on his knees like he was on the ramp after the match with a title on each shoulder, but his feet don't bent enough so he just rocks forward.

Also, I think if they made figures like Enterbay does, it'd be amazing. Multiple head options, different clothes, different accessories. It'd be better than the crapthey're dishing out now with rubber shirts and awful head scans.
