Mines would be an elite lower body with the basic upper body.
But I was just looking online at some figures where they have like 50 pts of articulation and you can move each individual finger and the poseability was insane but would be a pain in the nuts for play.
I think the elite lower body and basic upper body is a perfect mix of playability and posing?

WWE Mattel Figures. Elites and Basics are both great.

I don't care for the hinge wrists. I do like the articulation on the Ringside Jericho more than the ab crunch on most elites.

Elites are perfect. I only ask for more WCW and ECW flashbacks.

Toybiz TNA figures towards the end. Double elbows, butterfly arm joints. Those would aid tremendously in posing. Also, Marvel Legends style rocker ankles like the ones that are standard on them now. Matrel could rock extra articulation and it still look good, because their tooling hides joints well.

Hot Toys
That said. In the higher end game I have started to see more and more figures with a seemless finish. No joints etc. basically a frame with a skin covering. I believe this is the future. And it can't come soon enough. I just wish we could get a super high end WWE line in the 1/6 scale

No, the ab crunch is essential. This is my dream style of figure:
-Unique sculpts for each wrestler (no parts re-use) -More paint detail (Shading on the skin, wash, etc.) -Current elite articulation + Double jointed elbows + Butterfly shoulder joints + Hasbro style ankle rockers -Interchangle heads & hands with each figure -Multiple accessories (cloth t-shirts, cloth entrance jacket, weapons, etc.)
If we had figures like this, is be willing to drop like $34.99 per figure.

All wrestling figures on GI Joe size. No thank you. 3.75 figures are too small for my hands. They were fine for me as a kid, but my hands are too large for 3.75 figures now.

i guess i died because the mattel elites and basics are my dream toys…I like the two classes of style/articulation. and I like how they are differentiated, they fit in with each other but also allow for the same referenced character to be/have a different perspective…i am just learning more and more about why that is or why i think that is…right before i got into them, which was recently, for like a year before I was looking for the right max factory/figma/bandai type figure to get, as if those were the epitome of perfect action figures, I always wanted a masked rider/ guyver type figure, but then saw all the power ranger type releases, and the quirkier character releases (the RINGU). and they are too much money to just get one, though I got a few that quenched my interest and not totally regret it, would say those are mostly junk compared to these mattel figures... And I "was" really interested in 1/6 scale figures (sideshow and hot toys) but the price/space they take up, and the hot toys eventually break/(down) if you ever want to open them and pose them...

I would say
unique sculpts for each character. "scan" the whole body. have elite articulation but maybe use a rubbery "skin" where the articulation is hidden cloth gear
if we got figures like these they wouldn't be any less than $80 likethe mezco one:12 line. id buy them though

This sounds GREAT BUT they would retail for WAY over $35. I don't think they would be any les than $60, prob higher. if you look at mezcos one :12 line they are between 70-80 bucks and have most or more of these features. id buy them though
